Why can't life come with an instruction manual?

It prolly does, it just happens to be in a dead language ... Only to mess w/ us, I'm convinced ... shades

Gonna write my own manual.
Page 1: Get born and start raising a hell of a racket.
Page 2: Find some milk.

When you watch Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan in a romantic movie together and hate them for it.

or when it pisses you off when couples show affection in public...Get A Damn Roomrant rofl

Go up to them and say "Excuse me but I think you lost your tongue in that man's mouth. Just saying is all." Walk away laughing

I too hate heights yet love living on the 17th floor and I flew in a glider last summer. Keep at it, fear can be fun as long as it's your decision and your not coerced into doing it.

I kinda felt like I had to climb because it's part of being in the class, but honestly the whole area we were climbing in freaked me out; it was pretty steep and the ground was rocks that were sliding out from under us with every step.scared scared
I figure that I can only do better, but I'm worried for next week.

Every time I step out on that balcony it freaks me out but I go anyway. I have always wanted to go climbing and I think that will be a new goal. I am supposed to go to the CN Tower in Toronto soon and that is going to be a huge event for me.

Do you ever wonder about the first person to pick up an oyster, crack it open and say "Oh wow, this looks awesome. I think I am going to eat it."

I sent out about 20 nudges and never received one responce. Did my
nudges go through?
Why can't you put your email address in your message? How are you
supposed to contact the person? Can you put your ph. no.?shades

Have you tried interacting on the forums first and seeing if she is here? My suggestions is to get in here on the forums, join in on the games and discussions, get noticed and then nudge. Just my opinion from one new member to another.

There are few men and women of principle in both parties in America, but there is no party of principle.

due to the combination of mans nature , and the nature of capitalism(where profit is the bottom line), there are few 'principled' people in any position of power

'principled' people are seen as weak leaders (ie, Jimmy Carter)

The problem with Jimmy Carter was that he actually wanted to do some good but never had the support of his own party let alone the opposition.

Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely and positions of power attract the corruptible.

I agree, our system is set up that even the best intentions require COOPERATION from others,,,

Cooperation...now is that really too much to ask? I live in Canada and although our governments differ on some things, they share too many similarities. Partisan politics is killing us. More governing and less campaigning would be a good start. BTW, I like the way you think.

A good start would be to ditch the Dad jeans and any slacks with pleats.
