Sexym,
I just wanna give you a big hug - that's so sad...when I look at your photo with your lil puppy it makes me smile and I think to myself what a wonderful, kind, caring person. She must be as beautiful on the inside as out to have a pic of her and her puppy here. It's a big world, and not everyone thinks like your ex-nut bag boyfriend. The world is full of kind, caring loving and compassionate people...problem is seems what bad is done to us stands out more and we remember it longer than we do the good. Good bless, What's the puppies name Jaime |

Cookie, I can go for work boots...as long as their souls are all
attached!!(smiles) I'm sure I made myself out to look very shallow, but it was a little more complicated than all of that. There's a time and a place for certain attire ya know? Even barefoot is good, but don't take me to a Red Lobster or out for a night of drinks an dancing looking like a hobo..That was all I was saying. Remember the old saying - it's not the clothing that makes the man - it's the man that makes the clothing? Think about it. J |

How is it KB, that they can take part in our government funded programs
and not be "legal" citizens...I'm confused Please explain... It's very odd that a single woman, left to raise children alone, who is an American citizen, can work her fingers to the bone, be considered "poverty level" income...not be eligable for one single, solitary government program...and she has to chose between food on the table or medicine? Something is wrong with our system. J |

I was seeing him for close to six months...I finally said I didn't think
things were working...I just felt that it was best we went our separate ways...that's it. He came around after that once in a while, but the spark was gone at that point. You know, he really was a nice guy and was cute and sweet, but too me, he was lacking class pure and simple. If he was poor and couldn't afford shoes, that's one thing, but to have money and present yourself like that without giving it a second thought well...... J |

I think what hurts us the most in situations like this is the fact they
don't respect us enough to be honest about things...it leaves everything so "open ended" and we are left holding the bag wondering why and thinking everything was our fault... if you feel you did your best in the relationship - that's all you can do. Take pride and comfort in knowing that you gave it your best shot...and that you have nothing to regret or be sorry for. J |

The freaking heal was not attached to the rest of the shoe!!! That's why
it flipped and flopped!! so it wasn't like they were just ugly - and if he was so cheap or so lazy he wouldn't do something about it...well like Wendy said, it may have been foresight of things to come! So you mean to tell me guys, if you were with a woman that wore something distasteful to you that you wouldn't be turned off by it? J |

I'm not in highschool anymore KB...that may have been acceptable at that
point in my life! As of last Wednesday I turned 40. I've grown up a lot and prefer a man who has some class...It may sound funny, but it was extremely embarassing and was a relection on me....Yea, I want to bust my ass looking great for somebody and pulling out all the stops to be attractive and desirable and I'm dating a guy that can't wear a decent pair of shoes to a semi-formal dinner? Please...and you are right Wendy, we did talk about it...and I tried to be as nice and polite about it as I could. When we were in private that was one thing...when we were out that was another and yea we dated for some time...it wasn't like I threw him out after a couple of dates just because of the shoes. It became an issue so the rest is history... J |

He was a sweetie too...but my god!! One of our last dates was at Red
Lobster, he drove a teal blue cadilac, and dressed so nice that night and we walked in and all I heard was flip,flop...I knew then it was never going to work... J |

I met this one guy, who I really likde he was such a hottie and we had
so much in common and he even laughed at my jokes we had a lot of fun...We seemed so compatible...but every time we went somewhere he wore these broken down shoes...The sole would flop in the back like a flip flop...it's so funny looking back on it now...even tho he could afford to buy all the shoes he wanted he always wore these broken down shoes!! So like we would be somewhere, to a movie, the store, even a fancy resaurant, anywhere we went and you would hear flip flop, flip flop...I couldn't take it anymore!! I asked him several times, please don't wear those with me...buy a new pair wear something different..it's embarrasing people look at you then they look at me. I'm not shallow honestly, but I couldn't take it...he wouldn't do something about the shoes so he had to go! C'mon guys...lets have a little class when you are out with your woman... J |
