Why don't you just go there for a couple of weeks to see if you are compatible first. I wouldn't give everything up here to go there without a trail run first. People are not always what they seem. Good Luck

I've made it for years. Cover corned beef with water and simmer for about 1 hr. Then add cabbage, potatoes, onion, carrots and what ever else you want, until they are tender, about 1/2 hr. I love cold corned beef sandwiches with mustard. YUM Most corned beef is salty, so simmering removes most of the salt.

At least our summers are pretty nice and not too hot like down south. You people stay indoors all day while we are enjoying the beaches and mountains. I live in my screen house and BBQue. Trisa .. that's telling 'em ... ... uhmmm by the way .. I will be expecting a BBQ invite !
