Going to take care of my dog over at my mom's and visit with the cats over there, who I miss a lot. Probably get some reading done, or just relax.

Would you marry for money ?

Money to me doesn't matter. Sure it could help pay for a lot of things that I certainly cannot afford, but I would prefer to marry for love, no matter how poor or rich he is. I don't mind working at all, even with all the stress.

My silly cat jumps from chair to chair to table to counter....etc... she thinks the floor has fleas........she is the one that has just picked up fleas.......stupid cat! You put her on the floor she jumps up on something and then is happy.....put her on the floor she stands real still......then......then......boing! up on the chair where she is safe from the floor fleas. I have sprayed her maybe she will get her smarts back in a day or so. About a month ago she (slipped) went outside....a big black dog chased her all over the neighborhood (she stays inside now) I told her, "You just learned that somedays you are the cat and somedays you are the bug!" The black dog saw her as a bug!!! She still does not have any kindness on a bug! Bugs get whacked like always! My cat is an indoor cat. He likes to get on tables and knock pens and paper off, but he's good about not knocking over cups. He's good about letting me know when there's bugs on the walls or ceiling, but he'll eat them on the floor usually. You're lucky your cat doesn't knock cups over, I've two cats who love to test gravity with cups filled with water or juice... One does it sneakily, the other makes sure someone is watching. My cats love to chase the bugs and catch them... Then when they catch them, they will eat them. |

I cuddle up with the closest cat and lose myself in a world that does not exist, but only on the pages of the book I'm reading. Or I simply just overwork myself to the point where I just feel emotionally numb.

What do you do when

I am at work answering phones, being as patient as ever when people complain to me how we don't possibly have enough appointment slots for their pets on a saturday.... Or their pets' medicine isn't ready or whatever their complaint is that day.... Sometimes I just have to wonder about people

the only job I've had is a receptionist at a pet hospital. Not so bad, but somedays can be rough.

the whining post

Here's my complaint... Why are people idiotic when it comes to bringing their pets to the vets'? Why must they wait so freaking long if their pet is sick? Would you wait three weeks with your cat or dog vomitting and not eating etc.? I guess this serves me right for working as a receptionist at a pet hospital..

if u can entice the feline domesticus to munch a shroom I will be totally impressed my cat wouldn't have touched them - so picky OK I jus tsaw the bit about the lamb - that was the ticket most certainly and no the srooms won't hurt anything Yeah, he seemed to like the mushroom though. He really wanted the lamb, even bit me when I pushed him away when I was eating. He was good about not begging up until about a year or so ago. Now, I have to push him away when eating, and he will get mad at me and bite me. How old is he? If he is older I would suggest bringing him to the vet's to see if he may have hyperthyroidism, or even Diabetes. That is if he seems to be more hungry than usual. He's over 14 years old. He's not really more hungry than usual. It's just that people have been giving people food more. I try to keep away from human food as much as possible, but he knows who will sneak him food and who won't. He's pretty healthy for the most part, just old. Alright, just suggestions, yes pricey suggestions, but they are both treatable if he had either disease. |

I curl up with a cat and either watch a movie or read a book. Depends on how I'm feeling.

Cats are mainly carnovors, so they can't live off of vegitables. Grainfree diets are the best. But a little veggies here and there wouldn't hurt them. I had a cat who would eat peas.

What do you miss?

The one thing I really miss right now is my cat, Tuck. He's been gone for a year and it still is difficult to think of him not being here... He always knew how to cheer me up when I have a rough day....
