unfortunately only 1yr....since i was 14...lol i'm sure i'll surpass that this time, its been 8mos.

r ppl clueless? i've always had the 'no dolls' attitude as well...but now that i hav a girl nearing 2, i gotta clue. for 1, the whole purpose of the dolls that 'pee' & 'poo' is 4 potty training. why is this being overlooked? as i said, i had no plans on buying my baby a baby doll. but as we embark on potty training, & she just doesn't quite 'get' the concept, i'm fairly sure seeing a doll 'baby' like her doing it would explain in a way mommy can't & seal the deal.(when ur frustrated with P.T. a girl you'll understand. they kinda need 2 'see where it comes from') i've yet 2 succumb 2 that tho. as 4 the rest, there IS a doll baby in the house that's a hand-me-down. It proved 2b key in teaching her about her parts(not private), non life like figures/animals r horrible 4 this & i was grateful 2 hav this doll when trying2 explain things. i hav noticed the past few days shes showing affection 2ward it & being gentle, patting the baby which is very sweet & shows me she is learning & understanding how 2treat 'babies' or others in general & i can appreciate that as well. :) her fav is a stuffed cat (resembles our cat)that she learned 2 treat kindly as she now does the real cat, no longer ripping out its hair...should those b banned to? or is caring 4 a PET @3 ok? these r meant 2b learning tools! what U choose 2 teach with them is up 2u. ever let a toddler loose around a newborn? you'll wish they were aware that babies=gentle

ugh no ****. just 2day some 47..or 57 (idr now)yr old had the nerve to send me a snotty email saying I should be more respectful and like sensitive to the old men on here cause one day I WILL B called an "old maid, or old bat" etc etc!! this person was upset cause i added 'nobody over 33!!! what's with all the geezers?' to my headline lol. and as i explained to him i did it out of frustration cause every single person that contacts me on here is @LEAST 40! hello? would you like it if your daughter was on here (with an infants no less) and men your age were trying to date her? if anyone should b offended its ME! HELL no. nasty, get a clue. grrr

akron/canton. i'm know! i'm just worried i may have been overlooking the cons. like here, my babys never sick cause its warm, then all the accidents n ppl trapped for 24hrs on the news, friends saying it takes 4hrs to drive 20mi n such has me questioning things lol. hearing from ppl who raise kids in these environments helps

I've been in S. TX for nearly a decade. I have a fairly new vehicle and baby... I've been dead set on moving to OH. But I'm getting scared about driving/parenting/living alone in all that snow! What if I wreck on the road, or with my child? I couldn't afford that kind of mishap :/ I KNOW lots of ppl do it...I think I just need reassured? lol
