I think the term "intelligent women" is an unfair lable. Mostly everyone is intelligent in some way, but may not be so gifted in another. By posting that you dont want someone who uses "thing" and "that" as nouns, you may end up finding only women who are stuck up and, therefore, feel above you.
But perhaps that's just me. |

Michael Vick,s Redemption

Ok, Redmond. Say there was a guy who killed a bunch of children just for amusement and "sport". Upon being caught, he "realizes" that he has done wrong. Should he be forgiven?
Of course not. But those are human lives, you say? Oh, heaven forbid they should be compared to dogs. THEY ARE STILL LIVES HE TOOK. |

I believe that what he did is inexcusable and unforgivable. Just appologizing is not enough in this situation. I believe that he should have to justly pay for his actions, and should not be allowed back into his comfortable million-dollar career.
My proposal? That he face 5 years in jail, and donate money to pit bull rescues, AND do dirty volunteer work at shelters. |

Dear Diary...
I feel like it's getting harder and harder to hold everything together. My mother will nit-pick at my boyfriend, and with everyone I'll be short-tempered. I feel like Im losing my best friend who has moved away to college. Perhaps over time she will come back to me. I really hope so. Perhaps I just have to be patient... Everyone's gone off by now, and I only have a few friends near-by left, but it seems they are usually busy. My grandmother's mental health is deteriorating further, so she now goes to daycare. Its really quiet durring the day now. Sometimes I feel like a broken teddy bear in the storefront window... falling apart at the seams, but trying to make a good presentation. |

Dog lovers...?

Mikey, a bunch of animal lovers actually donated a number of his jerseys to an animal shelter. They are now using them as bedding and rags to clean up messes. Quite appropriate, I think!
And yes, it has been proven that many of those that torture/hurt animals move on to humans later on in life. |

I'm an animal welfare activist, and one of my biggest things is dogfighting. I believe that if anyone is going to do that to an animal, they should get 5 years + jailtime.
I also strongly believe that he should not be let back into the NFL. Not just because he did something strongly immoral (at least in my eyes), but what he did was a federal offence. He doesnt deserve his comfy job back. For anyone that doesnt know much about dogfighting, look it up on the ASPCA's website, or just take a look at my article. http://obsidian-mongoose.deviantart.com/art/Out-of-the-Pit-The-Facts-4994458 There is also an amazing documentary out there called "Out of the Pit: Dogfighting in Chicago", which can be found here. http://www.izzyworksfilms.com/ |

A little lonely
|
|
Just looking for a little support and some new friends...
All of my High School buddies have now run off to college, and it seems like I'm left here all alone. It's really quite frustrating- they get to go off to new places and meet new people and new things. Granted, they're a little alone too, but Im here with the same old, same old... with no one. I do have a couple of friends who are now seniors at my old HS, but this still leaves me alone durring the day. I am starting college October 1st... But as for right now, Im starting to feel really alone... |
