LMAO, I use to feel that way but as I get older I find my feelings aren't so easy to get over (or under) love is like alcoholism...when it is in full swing you have no problems in the world and forget everything around you, when it is gone, you still crave it everyday. Eventually you either move on or be consumed. I'm talking like I know it all, but i would be a liar if i said getting over real love is easy and that i am out of the woods. Gotta keep pressing on though. your friend, the cliche machine. |

its the truth. i think i saw you say somewhere that you never had a gf? If that is so, how do you know it is the truth. You can't blame others for not wanting you, at the end of the day maybe the way you approach things or present yourself is the problem? Maybe you don't know what you are looking for or where to find it? Trust me on this, I may be single right now, but have tons of experience when it comes to dating and relationships. You are 20 years old..the chances that you know what you really want are so small. 5 years from now you will look back on who you where at 20 and say, "Wow , have things ever changed.". Just have fun, be real, and don't put pressure on yourself or anyone else. Things in life have this weird way of falling into place if you put yourself into the right positions, and show a little bit of patience. Start by being positive instead of negative. I'm at a point in my life where I have lost everything, the person i was ready to spend my life with, yet i wake up everyday and try to see the good in things. If you just think the way you do, you will have more trouble accomplishing things in life, and this goes for more than just dating. You get to wake up to a new day everyday, and every day you have a chance to have something you do not expect. Focus on positives man. /long *** emo post. i've got tons of fuel...hope i am not ranting too much...:p |

Thanks for the welcome. :)
I hope newbies can post a lot, because I think I am going to spend this lonely friday getting to know this site a bit better. I have a friend pestering me to play wingman...but I think he will fly solo. Am I the only one that still thinks that the best way to get over someone is to get on top of someone else is not really a great plan? I mean I am a pig when i want to be and all...but am i crazy? |

Any tips? :D |

thanks folks.:)
I've been part of the have and have nots in my life in terms of money...and no matter what the case was, if you are true you will attract the people of the same ilk. The stereotype for the money grubbing woman exists in life for sure, but guess what? A lot of women have their own money and don't need yours.;) |

Just a brief little introduction to say hello. I'm new to the dating site thing, so bear with me. I just got out of a long term relationship and don't even know if I am ready to date. What i do know is that i would love to get to know some genuine women in my area and share some conversations with them.
Starting all over is hard, I'm not doing the bar scene, the rebound thing, the quick patch fix for loneliness thing. Being single has left a void, and I am hoping that talking to like minded people will help me get back on the saddle again. I'm the type of person who would really like to take the time to know you before meeting, and am not the guy looking for a quick lay. That kind of stuff was better left for the younger days (although at 31 i guess i am not old.). Whewwwwww....long winded? Any advice for a newbie like me? Are there genuine people on the internet or am I in the wrong place. Cheers Folks. |

success is important in life, but who you touch is always more valuable than who you buy.
are you looking for something strong, something beautiful to share with someone, or are you just looking for that piece of flash that will leave you when the next guy with more money comes along. it is all about priorities...good things come to those who wait, and money can't buy you love. /cliche first post here.:) |
