ArtGurl..... you hit the nail on the head! That's what I was trying to say all along. And many of you others.... yes, I think one should just simply avoid the ones that play the hard to get role. I look at it this way - it really is their loss if they choose to not get to know me or allow themselves to be open to me learning more about them. So, those of you that think it begins with just human to human contact - I'm right there with ya! Those that think you are the prize I wish you the very best. You'll get the game you expect and exactly what you deserve..... a wonderful dead end relationship! ENOUGH SAID!

Thanks for the comments so far. I tend to be a "let's cut to the chase." sort of guy (no pun intended). You all have very good remarks you have made. Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm missing the signs. It's really hard to tell on here for sure. However, nonetheless it is discouraging when you wish to just get to know a person, you chat for a little, get excited about the potential and then they step away and you never hear from them again. Honestly, I'm not sure how well this dating site thing is going to work out for me (as much as I'd like it to). I think I will take the opportunity to simply use it as my second myspace in which to just hang with friends like you. Take care and again - Thanks!

Alright, you got me! Didn't think I'd have to use this topic - LOL! I'm just a little frustrated this evening. I just have to ask...
Why do woman (and men as well) find it necessary to play hard to get? I understand that you don't want to come off as desperate, but at the same time if you are into someone and they are into you why would you blow them off to highten the pursuit? This is the part the frustrates me when it comes to keeping that contact flowing. I get discouraged as I am just not into the "game" of chasing anyone down in spite of my conveyed interests in them. Kind of makes me just say the heck with it and desire to remain single. After two years of being single again (after a 9 year marriage) I'm not sure I will ever understand why the game must be played in the first place. Let me try to live by my coined phrase anyway (LOL)... Laugh a lot and Smile often, Billy |
