I have lived in Texas almost all of my life so snow is something we very seldom see if we do it only last a couple of days...
But I did live in Kearney Nebraska for a year when I was 12. They had one of the worst snow falls they had had in a long time that year.. It was awesome.. yes snow drifts were so tall it was unreal.. The house next door to us the snow drifts were all the way to the eves of the house.. My brother and his friends were jumping off the peak of our house into the snow drift in the backyard.. Remember getting up and opening the front enclosed porch door and the snow had covered the door way.. My brother had to climb out a window to go clear the snow from the front door.. And uncovering my dad's car so he could go to work.. As much as I enjoy looking at it for a short time not sure I could for several weeks.. Ya tough girl doing all that shoveling.. |

Not sure who is into Military Type shows...
I've started watching "SIX" lots of action.. A bit of a description~~~ Navy SEAL Team Six, whose 2014 mission to eliminate a Taliban leader in Afghanistan goes awry when they uncover a U.S. citizen working with the terrorists. Stemming from an idea by Harvey Weinstein, the drama is inspired by real missions, capturing SEALs' complex personal lives and the life-and-death decisions they make, with each season set in a different location, starting with Africa. I prefer action packed type shows that keep me interested, and so far this show has got my attention.. I'm on Series #2 now.. it has 2 series 18 episodes. |

Don't like that 5-in-a-row rule. How's a fella suppose to stalk a girl with less than 6 consecutive messages? Seriously, it does get in the way sometimes when coupled with the 500 character limit per post - because, as I've mentioned, 1 word will never do when I can write a novelette. Particularly when there are language barriers & you have to explain half the shizzle yer saying to someone yer jist startin' out with. One complete thought for me can run several hundred words - & that's when I'm being succinct. The 5-in-a-row was put in just for that problem.. to keep scammers away.. As far as the 500 characters that was put in later... And yes it is a issues for those of us that seem to write a book in emails.. I have found out I do paragraphs instead now so if I get the code that my message is too long.. I just copy so many paragraphs from the bottom delete send then paste and copy following the same way till I can send it all..

why I can't send a PM to the ol'coot! 
Mail settings were female, 150 miles, and 55-75. I changed them to anybody, any distance, & 30-100 so we'll Zee how it goes. Are PMs different than Mail here? I haven't noticed a direct message function other than what they call "Mail". What set me off? Who do you think? The resident eternal burning flame of hating, of course. I keep trying to gently drag him out of that Faux sNooze silo he lives in but apparently he has sucker arms like an octopus when it comes to clinging to unreality. Just so y'all know anytime your mail settings is blocking someone. All you have to do is send them a message a message first if their settings allow it, and you can keep your settings as you wish without changing them.. So once you connect with someone through email you can put your settings back as you want... Once you have sent emails back n forth, they will not be blocked. Well unless you try to send them more then 5 emails without them responding then it will block you till they have replied.. |

oh yeah.. I guess a phone and charger would help huh.. thanks for the reminder Gal.. and maybe a battery with a solar panel??  it IS an emergency after all huh 
Ohh they have the phone chargers that are solar powered..that comes with solar panels.. I have not bought one yet just seen them not a bad idea.. The extra charger I have for my phone I keep it fully charged just in case I loose power. |

This one you mentioned "Hell on Wheels" being A-1+ fare, particularly in the Westerns/Civil War era genre. I watched this series and enjoyed it... But then I do like some westerns if they are action packed.. To me the more Action in a movie, the more likely I will watch it..
