High school was a blast!! Sneaking off with the guys at lunch & skipping classes!! Those were the good old days!!!

I think a lot of it has to do with the divorce rate, teenage pregnancies, drugs. I think after divorce the kids aren't usually watched as closely as if there were two parents. Maybe for valid reasons like working to support their children, etc. The kids tend to be left on their own & many ends up either on drugs, pregnant or both. Thus, only being kids raising kids. Parents letting their kids away with murder. Years ago kids behaved in the stores, etc. Now, they run around knocking people over & their parents doesn't seem to care. I came from a broken home, teenage pregnancy & drugs. I tried to raise my sons well & made many mistakes. But, they have turned out pretty well for the most part. Had I been older I think they'd turned out better because I'd been more mature in raising them. I lacked a lot of maturity back then.

This topic has gone way more in depth than I imagined. For those who have taken the time to get to know me wouldn't consider me a criminal. Fact is I'm a convicted felon. Not to make excuses for what I've done but only to explain how a person can go downhill & commit crimes. After 21 years of marriage I found myself out on the streets basically homeless shuffling from one friend to anothers place just to have a place to sleep & food. Booze & drugs became my companion. Found myself in an abusive relationship with a crack addict I became hooked on crack. After we exausted all options for living & had worn out any welcomed places to stay. My ex decided it'd be cool to rob a store I once worked at & after a beating I gave him the ins & outs on the security system, etc. He robbed the store while I waited several yards up the road in the car. I refused to answer the police's questions & took the fall for a man who didn't deserve it. Fast forward to jail time-Once arrested I entered the jail beaten all to hell & my medical was a baggy of neosporin to put on my abrasions. Need medical, you put in a request & if you were lucky the Dr would see you next week or next month. 3 meals a day? Stuff a hog would roll around in. After lockdown at night the guards would come in & take out women, sleeping with them, then returning them back to their cells every night. Luckily I never had to sleep with the guards tyo survive that hellhole. Take a shower while the guards watches from the tower. Even been called over the cell intercom telling you to go take a shower so they can get their jollies. Refuse them & you pay. You want it easy? Well, there's a price you have to pay to stay safe. You pizz someone off & you get the **** beat out of you!! Tell on someone & you might lose your life or wish you had. Outside rec? We called it the "hamster cage" it consisted of a block wall & all you could see was the sky. No grass, flowers, etc. Even after all that it was almost a relief to know where I was going to lay my head at night, where I was going to wake up, & knowing they wouldn't kick me out. I've done my time & now am finally trying to get back on solid ground. The nations mentality keeps knocking you down. But, I'm a surviver. I blame no one but myself!!

Nice read first thing in the morning!! I've been talking to a friend for about 2 months in email & he told me the other day that the reason he enjoyed our chats is I've never asked him anything personal like his job, wealth, religion, etc. Those things doesn't matter. It's what's on the inside of a person that counts. He's gained a sense of trust & someone I'm comfortable talking too. That's what friendship is all about!!

I stayed married 21 years. I felt like a total failure when we split. Somewhat like Queenies mother I fell apart & drank heavily. Ended up at 40 years becoming an alcoholic & drug addict. Went to a rehab to get straightened out. Something I'm not proud of but don't hide from relationships. What's really hard to explain to men after 3 years is that I'm still married & no plans for a divorce. Even tho we are no longer together my ex's family & religion doesn't believe in divorce. Since I have no plans to ever marry again I see no reason to hurt my ex more by having him blackballed by his family & church. I think back over the years & think maybe things could have worked but we'd both given up on trying. My ex is a good man & deserves someone who'd make him happy. But, I don't see him going against his church & family to find someone & remarry again. If that be the case then I'll eventually divorce.

Stuff it up their azz & you can pretty much carry anything in that'll fit!!! Most states it's against the law to do a cavity search. Anyone snitches...we'll they end up falling in the shower if you know what I mean!! Survival of the fittest!

Do you always get your gas at the same place? I used to until I started gettin water in the gas causing it to not want to start & sputter just like yours. Started getting gas at diffeent locations & it stopped. First used a fuel injecter cleaner to mix with the existing gas.
