Does anyone Read Books?

I love all kinds of books,I get them from goodwill/yardsales/used bookstore. Sometimes,I felt that I'm right there,walking along the beach or someone is after me. Ater I read them,I pass them on. I do collect John Sandford/Nora Roberts/Fern Michaels and Catherine Coutler. The problem that I've is finding Western Books for my aunt,she is in a wheelchair so all she does is watch tv or read.Around here,you can't find them at yardsales/flea markets,even used bookstore want high prices,I go to walmarts and bought them for her. I got pick-up Tribute-Nora R./Phantom Prey-John S. and The Adventures of Slim & Howdy-Brooks&Dunn Popcornncoke I too am a fan of Catherine Coulter,Fern Michaels... I like her but she has so many characters in her books.Especially the Sisters. I get a lot of my novels at the library 4 for a buck.What are you looking for did you mean westerns ,like John Wayne type? Louie lou moore?Not sure weither I spelled that right. |

Galendgirl today I found out why the non-profit postition hasn't been posted yet .....our E.D. had a skiing accident and buggered up his knee supposedily having surgery today ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!*#*** So her she waits with resume in hand waiting,waiting,waiting and more waiting lol

I am still waiting for the job to be posted I had took my resume in over a week ago. I'll keep my fingers crossed :) Yeah I don't know what the hold up is.Today I am going to register for some more classes maybe that will give them the push,if not at least it will keep me out of trouble lol |

If I wear high heels every single day to work, will my butt ever actually reflect the workout I'm giving it? (I see it in my legs, so I'm hopeful.) Ack. Female question and my female cohort had deactivated. * Goes in search of another cohort * You never wear heels??? (Sheesh!...or Thank goodness!  )

I'm not sure about your butt I haven't seen it lmao. But wearing high heels everyday I imagine it is your legs the men are looking at lol.I think the amount of running around you do in a day you probably could skip the workout.What kind of fundraiser have you got in the works? Thanks sweet friend! However, it's heels with slacks these days...NM spring winds prohibit dresses on most days (OOPS! Now THAT might be a fundraiser or it'd kill the deal completely, one or the other!) Just finished our annual raffle for a trip to Hawaii or $1500 cash on Saturday. This weekend there is a 5K (my first and one of my personal fitness goals) and then...grant writing begins. I am still waiting for the job to be posted I had took my resume in over a week ago. What's the status of your recent interview with the non-prof? |

Hmmm....so have you and he gone bowling again??? If so, how was the second date??? lol Sorry jag I missed this. No we haven't been bowling again yet. Have talked on the phone.He had asked me out for a campfire on the weekend but I had other plans.But we are going to a social at his hobby club on Sat. nite. |

Well, I just received my inheritance check on Tues this week and my son and I are headed for the Harley store soon..He and I are taking the driving class together so we can renew our license and get a discount on our insurance.. just keeping it in the family..thanks Carolanne, I am envious as you are much younger... 
But obviously I'm not having a great time riding a motorcycle! You go girl! I'll be intisapating a ride this summer!When you get up this way. |

Wow that sounds exciting!! I won a few races, but just loved doing it, got a terrific rush from it!! Now I just parasail and hot air balloon and ride motorcycles..
Such a busy and adventurous lady I am green with envy! hugs to you and that is Carol Anne here and Anne is my middle name and 58 of course for the year I made my grand entrance lol |
