awolf so why do you call your holiday black friday? And why is it after Thanksgiving?
It is so much fun living here in the snow belt I was suppose to be visiting my dad today but due to the off and on rain and snow and now the wind has picked up I am staying put.You have to be able to laugh at yourself living(imo) here twice I have slipped and taken a nose dive into the snow bank lol |

thanks E!!!!!!! TO OUR CANADIAN NEIGHBORS........SERIOUSLY!!!! WTF is BOXING DAY??????? for reals!!!!! LOL from your Canadian neighbour boxing day is the same as your black Friday the day after Christmas we box up the things that don't fit and return them to the store for the right size,colour etc.And the stores usually have things marked down.I sort of want to go but am tired of shopping lol. Besides the weather has been nasty, snow ,rain,and windy, yuck!!! |

Hey Justaguy! Cool thread! I've never posted in here before but I do have a question for you now & would appreciate your opinion. I met a gal on Myspace that's actually on the same planet as me; just a ten minute drive actually, and we seem to be hitting it off well. We share many of the same interests & enjoy talking to each other. We're at the point where we're ready to meet & start dating. Here's the deal: she's five years older and I'm a young looking 26. I'm a bit worried about the age gap, but then again; I am mature for my age & we seem quite compatible. Not that big a deal for me & doesn't seem to bother her. ...and another thing, she has three young daughters. I have one six year old son already too, full time. I know it's harmless to go out and spend time getting to know each other, but if things do start getting serious, am I biting off more than I can chew? I think that I'm a good father to my son and I always seem to be shouldering much responsibility, seems to be what these shoulders were made for. I know it's way early to be worrying about this since we haven't yet met in person to see if the chemistry is there. I'm just wondering whether I should pursue or not. My gut tells me yes but my brain is already filled with worry. Hard to step out into the unknown, yanno?!? These are just some thoughts rolling around in my head. Would be nice to get an outsider's opinion. Thanks in advance. I have read jags reply and just wanted to add to it.Don't put so much pressure on yourself if it works out that's great but if not there are always other people to meet.Sounds like you have lots to talk about that's great.So have fun.You sound like an intelligent guy and I think you will know when or if you are getting in to deep.But remember jag and the rest of us here on this thread are here to bounce things off of so good luck to you.Waiting to hear how things turned out. smile |

oooooppppps!I was multiy tasking while watching Charlie Brown but I thought he said he had a girlfriend.Let me know if you find out.I love Sally dhe is my favorite.Tonight she had one line in the Christmas play And It was the work "hark" She rehearsed it over and over again and when the time came she said the wrong word. lol

Someone mentioned cookies,that is one thing I can never get right I either take them out to soon or I burn them any advice? I have just started a volunteer job wrapping gifts for families in need this Christmas with one of our local charities.I like it but It is hard on the back. |

Good evening oh great one,I just watched Charlie Browns Cristmas.I have a couple of questions...........Did the guy who came up with Charlie Brown die a couple of years ago? This was a new one that I never saw before.Why does Marcie call her friend with the flip flops Sir,when obviously it is a girl? And since when did Charlie Brown get a girlfriend? Huh?

I spend alot of time trying to decide what colours go together and my sis says I have a good eye for colour.I love to quilt.I know that there is nothing better to leave behind for my nieces when I am gone. |

<----Fell for the quitters thing too. At least i wasn't alone. I would love to sew a quilt cause I have one my mother made ages ago and i love it and i think it would be fantastic to make another similar to it I use it year round. Me too my quilt is on the bed year round.I have made quilts for most of my family members.And with Christmas around the corner I am busier then ever.I saw a quilt at a tourist shop here in Ontario it was a king size white with white stitching the tag said 1,ooo dollars. |
