I agree...I don't know how many times chatting, texting, etc...was all great...then you go and meet them....maybe date a few times etc...the difference is to me..that Im, text, and email...definetly doesn't give you a feel for who they are just yet....talking on the phone gives you more of a idea by their voice and intonations...but you still have to do the meet thing to finish out the process and to see if the chemistry is really going to be there....even then...going out and seeing someone seems to gradually get them to be more of who they are...and that's not bad...have met a lot of nice men..just in the end...they are not the one for me long term. I tend to be a people person..so of course for me...it's more my comfort zone...

Appreciate the advise :) I haven't done more than add oil, change a tire in a long time...but recently took the Ford's Engineering exam online...made a 78% ..my son is the one who told me about it...he'a a diesel/tank mechanic Army....besides the add ons of special ops etc...anyway...he knew that i grew up working on cars and still know a lot of the how to's ....if nothing else it was fun to take.

It is interesting, and if nothing else quite unique to have that...I just couldn't help but notice how much time was used to list out all the "labor" charges! Seems like nothing has changed! Going to pick up my back brake shoes at Auto Zone for about 22.00 but unless I go out to my Dad's ...I don't have all the tools in my car ...and do these myself....I will end up paying 65.00 to 100.00 labor for someone to do it for me.

ditto on the old muscle cars... Chevelle SS, Nova's, Pontiac GTO, Mustangs.... also like the old pickups ...learned to drive in a 1960 Ford with Midnight blue color...rounded top...and had to stomp the clutch down all the way to the floorboard to shift gears . Also like antique sewing machines, old books ...find a lot in library sales...have found editions of classics printed at the turn of the century....
