So to start things off I have been fortunate enough to have had 2 great loves in my life. The thing is one I spent 18yrs with and loved here dearly and in many ways I still do, but I will never share that with her again. The thing is I seem to always meet women who are attracted to me and then I tell them my age and off they go! lol it's funny to me because I have met women in there mid 20's who have been very flirty up until they find out my age? I'm 52 yrs young! and no I don't feel old but really don't think I look like I am anywhere near there age. I mean really I don't hide it nor have I ever hid that I am now divorced and have two grown boys again lol and this happens to me all the time! lol yes I do feel flattered that a younger woman has taken the time to smile and look my way! ahha, the old flirt and run both sexes do it,, trust me, I experience it regularly here on mingle haha lol yes I guess that does sum it up! I was involved in a hit and run and didn't know it Thank you :D |

The most logical reason for your repeated experiences, is that you are misinterpreting why these young women approach you in the first place. If these women are in Liveworld, it is likely that you only think they are genuinely flirting with you, before they learn your age and run off. Lots of people behave in a friendly manner without wanting to have sex with us, after all. And the moment they realize we are mentally going down the "lets have sex or a romance" road, they turn tail. If it is online, we have to include the strong likelihood that they aren't young women at all. I have gotten used to the fact that every time I log in here for the first time in a day, I trigger the Bots into action. Within a few minutes of my first post of the day, I get "likes," "nudges," and even short messages from things claiming to be very attractive younger women, trying to engage me in conversation. Thank you sir fresh perspective on what is happening it is appreciated, I am referring to real world vs cyber, which I am well aware of, lol but seriously thank you for your input! |

I don't understand the issue here tell them you are flattered and move on, unless it truly bothers you. Some women are into older men. Some are not. But if you are honest with them about your age and it bothers them move on. But if you are active in seeking younger woman repost in profile your age. Some girls are flirty some girls use it to their advantage be cautious of those girls. Each to his own, I say whatever floats your boat. Be happy with every compliment you get. Not all folks age as well.. LOL

aww that's sad but it is there it takes time and the right person. I wish I could say it's forever and for some it is. I have been fortunate enough to have met and been with 2 different women, not at the same time lol. But yes it can happen
