Sitting on the edge of tomorrow's yesterday. Broken glass strewn everywhere, but I sit down anyway.

Shards cutting in to my unfeeling skin. Pinpricks of blood rise, leaving a red trail of my sins.

I keep picking up pieces that cut into my hands. I'm blinded to the pain, to numb to understand.

No longer a person with a voice of her own. Insignificant and useless, unwanted and alone.

My existence now fading, I'm losing my mind. Starving for attention, no love can I find.

Yet unbroken lies a mirror barely visible to sight. I crawl through the carnage, hold it up to the light.

If I see my reflection, it's proof that I matter.
But instead I let go, the mirror falls and then shatters.

Nothing was there, no image of my face. I'm already forgotten, I've disappeared without a trace.

There in the corner forgotten and used.
Torn asunder, pillaged, it's virtue and youth.

Empty and void where laughter once fell.
Embodied in darkness is all that now dwells.

Unheard by others existing in fear.
Traces of sorrow left by one single tear.

Angst and fury rekindled in vain.
Salvaged it flickers and yearns in the pain.

Wasted and hungry, ravaged by time.
Intoxicated by lust, it begins the climb.

To revenge and salvation of an unfettered soul.
Justifiably sinister, inconceivably cold.

Impassioned by torment yet sightlessly raw.
Reborn from the hatred, the target........your flaw.

Ain't that the Truth. I even have the Ulcers to Prove it, lol.

Love is a calliope of four letters, going up and going down, in a miasmic never-ending vertigo.

Toxic self loathing internally eschewed.

Inspiration in life no longer received.
Reality displaced, incurred by deceit.

The catalyst of LOVE is the epitome of HATE.
Lies once told become the truths you create.

A silent plea when there was no belief.
Your last breath ends with a final sigh of Relief.
