Yeah, even if you don't abandon windows, it just makes good sense to always have a linux live CD on hand to help you through these situations. With a linux live CD, when things like this happen you can switch directly over to using linux, still access your data on your hard drive, and fix your windows BS at your leisure.

12,000 bucks for hand controls on a Mustang..yeah right.
maybe 500 bucks or so at most..i just went on Ebay,and googled it too.
hand controls cost 700 new...used sets are 200-300 bucks.

back in the 90-s i was part owner of a bar,and one nite we had a couple of guys who were,lets say,acting a bit suspicously.
walking all around the tables etc etc,when they Were up in the pool room to begin with.
the capper was when i saw one of these clowns put something into a drink glass on a table.
i got my other buddy,and the other part owner,and we watched.
they thought i was imagining things But!!
sure enough,the song ended,and a lady comes back to the table and picks up the glass.
we stopped her immediately.

we then grabbed the guy,and collared his buddy too,and called the cops.
turned out,there was actually 3 of them,the 3rd one we missed,he got away,only one of them had the drugs on him.
the 2 we did catch,one got off free,but the other ended up in prison.
and!! his family made death threats against me,until i had some friends of mine say something to them.

these type of people are not human,they are predators.
and you are so right..i would bet money,that well over 75% never report what happened.

most bars only have security at the door,not inside,unless a fight breaks out.
so you Have to be careful.

back then,i was more interested in the 1972 barracuda convertibles used on that show.

the cars were loaned by chrysler to the shows.

side note,Chrysler never made any 1972 convertible cudas..these were reworked 71 cars,using 1972 tailite panels and front clips,and are now super rare and worth a ton of money.
