You miss the point. We live in a world culture were every one enforces the idea, that we live for God, for Country, for this, or for that, and then, when they do something just as stupid, you say, you are suppose to be living for yourself. Disclaimer - Blaming the World and/or modern society for your problems is not only completely irrational, but somewhat disturbing. ...

But... you can't really blame other people for your actions because you're the only one in charge of those, no? Exactly what planet do you live on? Are laws written teaching people to be responsible for their own actions. Is anyone taught in school that the definition of a thing determines what may or may not be predicated of it? Or even, like this very website, that lays down rules, as if they have authority to control information about yourself? I think we have a case of the pot calling the kettle black here. Predicated of? You're blaming. Wisdom comes with age, grasshoppa. At 30 I think some kinda ethical behavior would be present. |

A suppressed, yet lingering childhood memory had been sparked, or reigniting upon seeing this phantom from your inner suppressed self? ..or maybe a rabid chipmunk jumped down from outer space from his Nut Rocket 3000. Whispered in my ear, 'Key Dee Car'. And I was proving to this furry lil bas**** that I could do it because my ego/arrogance wouldn't permit me to turn down a bet? Oh, or maybe, just maybe.. It was that voice in the back of my head that always gets me in trouble. Shut up! Or I'll Q-Tip your a**! ......? I'm so important that I can't be bothered with reading this entire thread. So if any psychobabble points have already been pre-established, then forgive me. - You seem to blame this whole situation on the girl's boyfriend. Which is fine, a lot of people play the blame game.
