And here it is:

All my little plans and schemes
Lost like some forgotten dreams
Seems that all I really was doing
Was waiting for you

Just like little girls and boys
Playing with their little toys
Seems like all they really were doing
Was waiting for love

Don't need to be alone
No need to be alone
It's real love, it's real
Yes, it's real love, it's real

From this moment on I know
Exactly where my life will go
Seems that all I really was doing
Was waiting for love

Don't need to be afraid
No need to be afraid
It's real love, it's real
Yes, it's real love, it's real

Thought I'd been in love before
But in my heart, I wanted more
Seems like all I really was doing
Was waiting for you

The Beatles, 1996

Bonnie, you're right. For many women who had that lifestyle before the womens' movement it came crashing down in a divorce or death. Without a degree or other career skills, it may have been a bleak future. But many moved on to success.

Weird as before the women's movement was the generation of my grandparents. In those days it was barely possible to get a divorce.
The generation of young adults that grew up during the time of the women's movement was that of my parents.
And then both genders could get good studies and diplomas. My mother started working after secondary school, age 17, her one year older sister studied more and always had a great paying job and career.

Maybe things are very different in the US, but here the days of what you describe of a woman having no choices or education have long gone. Kind of like half a century has gone by since...

I'm glad also that things are different for women's careers and choices around the world. I don't know how it is in your area, but in the US there are still those who would like to chip away at the gains women have made and make them second-class citizens again. The fight is ongoing here just to keep the rights and gains already achieved.

"Old School" can refer to many other things too, for example riding Panheads and Shovelheads they built themselves. Or playing a Strat or Les Paul without using effects pedals. Or putting lists on paper instead of on a computer. There are more, but these are just some examples.

You have difficulty in finding "more and more women" in the capital city of Bangladesh with a metro population of over 21 million?

Posting a photo and not having a blank profile here would help. Good luck!

I have adult kids ..
If she has the same fine ...
No more kids and restrictions. I like my carefree life . And intend to keep it that way .
Now if there are grandkids , that's a different story . But acceptable nevertheless!!!

But nowadays there's a greater chance of adult children having to come back to live with a parent (loss of job,, divorce, health issues, etc.)...and they may also have small children and possibly their childrens' mother or father with them. Hard if this wasn't the situation you planned on. Tough decision to go along with it (or not).

I know we can choose to ignore them, and that they financially help support Mingle, but is it ethical for Mingle (on the sign-in page) to allow political "surveys", from Powerinbox and probably others? Perhaps a moderator can pass this question up to administration.

She's one of those girls who seems to come in the spring
One look in her eyes and you forget everything
You had ready to say
And I saw her today, yeah
A younger girl keeps rollin' 'cross my mind

Most women probably have an age range on Men they want to date .

Part of their age limit has to do with the man's health. They may not want to become a nurse to him in a few years.

To "make a relation ship", you must be honest by stating you're married with children at home, as your profile indicates.

Perhaps many men have gotten tired of the entitled attitudes of some women on these sites so these men have "learned" over time that putting forth too much effort towards one woman is a fools game ON THE INTERNET where men seem to outnumber women by far too much.

I've seen it far too many times myself...women that are 2's and 3's during the day while going about life, suddenly, miraculously, become 8's and 9's once they log into the dating sites due to being hit on so much ONLINE. Kind of seems to go to their heads after awhile.

this sounds like it could actually be the main reason. Well, too bad

Many men here would adopt the same attitude if the ratio was reversed (women outnumbering them 15 to 1).

Always keep in mind that as you time travel, you're always in the same physical place, as we first learned watching Rod Taylor in "The Time Machine" (1960)--possible danger or significant change to the place when you stop in time. And would the clothes we're wearing also follow us into the past, or would we arrive naked, like Arnold in "Terminator 2" (1991)?

Could be worse. Charlie must now be in his 80s, still riding on the MTA and can't get off ("The MTA Song", The Kingston Trio, 1959)

When quoting lyrics, it's always best to give credit to the artist (Mariah Carey, 1990).
