Strong characters are really hard to discover.

I admit my flaws, but I do struggle to learn from my mistakes. Therefore I don't think of myself as strong. I do lack a level of self-esteem, unless i'm in an environment within which im known (for me, a karaoke pub with a certain DJ or an open mic set with familiar faces), making me feel i'm not standing alone like a lemon.

I perceive strong people as those that can be themselves, rarely alter someone else's character, and get by with acceptance and a smile. Ok, we're all different, and no-one is going to be liked/known by everybody they meet, but they also understand why people come to conclusions that they do.

I would ideally like to make new local friends for myself, with possibilty of developing further. And of course, get myself out of an all work and no play situation i'm finding myself increasingly getting in too.
