Depending on where you are depends how many hours difference it is.

(ie, for me in UK, west coast USA+canada are 8 hours behind, but sydney australia is 9 hours ahead) - 5pm here = 9am in USA/canada (westside), and = 2am in sydney.

I seem to have the effect of pushing people away because of the way I am. I don't know/understand why, but its just happening that way.

I guess I am one of the luckiest around. Yes I have debts, and before the recession took a bite I was working around various recruitment agencies. And then I had 6-8 weeks in the After Christmas slump where all the temps left, And companies had over budgeted and overspent.

Then Feb 09 comes along, I get a call for an interview for the Hilton Hotel chain no less, Date and time? 10:30am FRIDAY 13th Feb... lol

10 days later I started, at the 40 hours a week rate that I'm contracted for (ok so its 39, but yeah one spare hour aint a problem).

Since the beginning of May however, 1st week was just me, @ 80.5 hrs working time. Then since that first week, there has been me and one other guy doing 50-55 hour average weeks. So according to their contract functionality - because we're only 2 and we cant get any lieu days we're being paid overtime.. anything over 39 hrs in a week is classified as overtime. Bank holidays are not fun to work, but they're paid better.

My advice. Work as a Kitchen Porter. Lol. They're always in high demand because of the number of people that can handle the job role dont stick around in it for long enough.

I'm grateful I can survive. And of course, I'm grateful for the basics, family, friends, and work.

But i'm also grateful to have the ability to start to grow up (in so many ways over the last 4 years I've gone from drunk rebellious 20 year old party animal, to a 24 year old man with a sense of direction and purpose).

I know where i'm at, I know where i'm going, and what I want to do.

I was speaking to a user on here through private messaging and have been over the last week or so. I just read a mail I got from them today, and found out that as I went to reply their account was de-activated.

And his mother still had the cheek to defend her son for rights to eat and speak when there's more than one way of communication and if is food has to be pureed it can still be eaten. Imagine what those with no teeth available have to do? Imagine what the people who have no choice in whether they can speak clearly or not?

Who had committed the cold blooded murder? (ok, with intention of taking himself too).

Personally, If I was in that situation, my whole family would disown me. They would simply inform me that I got myself in that mess, I have to deal with it.

Furthermore, For the people forking out the money to go into his re-constructive surgery, that should NOT be taxpayers money - but it usually always is.

If doctors feel its necessary, then let them get on with it. They're not gonna let a simple family feud detract from that.
