I love camping, since the Army got me so used to it. I would camp in a tent because that way I would really feel as though I'm training to survive. Since I'm going through a divorce, I've decided to be a picky person. I'm trying to trouble shoot my friend's wireless network. He runs off of a Cisco product, I think its the top of the line router and I don't know why he even spent over 100 bucks for the thing even though he's running 1G speed. The steps that I had taken was basically resetting the router, the LAN works but as far as the wireless, it gave me complications even though that the IP's are not conflicting. I input the PIN, then it leads me to another screen, I've tried looking in my 70-291 course book and found nothing regarding to this problem. READYFORMORE, if you're reading this, I really need your help since my instructor is 6 hours away hunting somewhere in the boonies.

I don't cheat nor never had. Did you know that in the bible in the New Testament that those who cheat suppose to be put to death? Back then in the US, anyone who cheated was put to death, but if I cheated, I would kill myself because its by the order and law of Yahweh. I was watching the news a couple of months ago, the interviewer asked this retired Army Major who is a Counter Terrorist Specialist if we should give up our freedom for our security, and his answer was "YES". Knowing that Andrew Jackson or Thomas Jefferson, I can't really remember who, stated that we should never give up our freedom for security, otherwise we don't deserve neither of it. Its really a shame...

I've talked to my instructor today regarding to MCITP. He told me not to worry about it too much because its still new. He will be taking a test for it within a couple of months because its a must have kind of deal. I haven't messed with 2k8 servers yet because learning 2k3 servers is still frying my brains. I mean I know how to assign users, doing all of the crazy junk through the network like file sharing and all but the confusing part is the permission portion relating to the policies. He said that the last policy will be the first one to act just like if you shut off control panel from a policy, any users who are member of that policy will also get turned off right? Unless you individually go into a specific user account and turn them on while the policy is still off? I don't know if I'm making any sense.

I should be thankful that there is someone who is a Senior Admin. I may have some Admin questions if I'm stucked, will be going onto 70-291 next week.

Can anyone in here tell me what the hell is a SQL Server? I've looked it up on the net to find more info about it but it doesn't seem to explain it to me in depth. I know what Window Server 2003 and 2008 is but what's really SQL? Thanks.

Hmmm... course 83-640? I don't think they even have that where I'm going to school at. So far we're working on Server 2003 which is 70-690 and it looks like a lot of fun. But since I don't know what Server 2008 is about, perhaps my instructor may know. I had already heard that 70-291 is the worst and hardest of them all. After getting certified in MCSE, I'll aim for MCITP and see what its all about. But yeah, I'll wait for them to come out some kind of resource books or what not to know more about it. Maybe Microsoft's website may have some more info on it although I learned that their tests are now being focused in a real world situation instead of stupid questions that doesn't relate to it like Comp Tia tests.
