I'm new here...I like that Mingle has forums to chat. What has everyone's experience been so far on here?

I don't give out my phone number until we've been chatting for a bit. It makes me uncomfortable. And it's awkward when a guy gives it out on the first message or two and then I have to explain that I'm not comfortable yet. However, it's easy then to weed out the people I want to talk to versus the ones I don't as some men have then gotten upset and called names.
