Well I aint lowering my expectations or standards... so I had to politely say thanks but no thanks and told them why... I always tell them why... Someone not being your type doesn't mean they're less than you. You may not be compatible, but it really shouldn't be considered "lowering your standards" by giving a human being who likes you a chance, even if its just one date to be sure you're making the right choice. |

No. It's the choice they made. They sure as hell wouldn't stand up for me for being straight. When's the last time you were harassed for being straight? I was thinking the same thing. so because someone is gay, they asked to be harassed and beat up for it? You're the kind of person who also believes that if you're not a straight white male you have no real claim to freedom period. |

Kittens are cute in the freezer after a couple of hours I love cats. I could be married with 4 kids and still my cats would have their own special place in the family, and be treated just as well as anyone else in it. Cats are people too... just ask mine. They're furry little people who've yet to grasp english, though they do seem to understand it... |

He's chasing every single letter I type and actually gets that its the mouse keyboard making it happen. He keeps lookin at the keyboard, then lookin at the mouse, then the screen. He's tried to do the mouse himself a few times... Cats are effing geniuses, I dont' care who says different.

You'd be surprised at how easily you can entertain a kitten by typing... He's trying to chase the cursor right now...lol. I know this is dumb to like 99% of the site, but I think its hilarious

sorry to say i'm not as brave and noble as all the other folks here... to be perfectly honest, confrontation isn't really my style. i'd try to help out by going and talking to the alleged homosexual dude or dudette and try to make a new friend. then i'd try to get them to walk away from the situation with me. if they're upset, i offer a listening ear and some advice on the fact that idiots exist everywhere and you gotta keep your head up and pity the fools who will never amount to anything beyond putting down others to make themselves feel big. Sometimes taking up for them doesn't have to mean being violent. If you get there in time you can do what you say. If someone IS hurting someone physically though, standing back and doing nothing is how things happen like the Matthew Sheppard incident. Of course if you can call the cops and they get there soon enough maybe you can save them, but what if they take an hour? You have to speak up and let it be known that you won't tolerate or stand back and watch them hurt someone for beind different. Sometimes just knowing that someone else has that person's back is enough to shut them up. |

Haha, though a smart man who is caught looking too intensely should reply with something of this nature:
"Oh, I was just thinking how something like what she's wearing would look so much better on you then it does her." or your better bet (b/c what she's wearing might be really skanky...lol) even if its a bald face lie and I know it...lol "You're so much prettier then her" |

Nope, as long as you're not obviously oogling every hottie that walks by its cool. You have to know how to A: be discreet and polite B: have appropriate timing. If we're having a tender moment in a cozy corner of a restraunt and you drop your attention from me to the skanky waitress who's skirt was just slightly shorter than was professional looking.. we're going to have a problem.

I personally only wouldn't date you for the fact you're slightly too old for me (not OLD, just too old for me), but if you were in my comfortable age range it wouldn't have any weight what-so-ever. My cousin has been in a wheelchair since we were babies, he was born with spinabifita(sp?). I had another cousin who was mentally challenged who passed away. I'm really used to people with differences, if the right man came along and just happened to get around a little differently who am I to turn him away? Anyone who wouldn't date you because of your wheels is probably really shallow.

I can't find a decent treadmill for less than 300. Well, the walmart website has a nice manual treadmill for 130, but they don't carry it in the stores. Grrr... if anyone comes across a second hand one or whatever for less than 100 please let me know. I hate to discourage your exercise program, but any treadmill less than $1,500 is pretty much junk. See if you can purchase a good used one, perhaps for $400-$500. Otherwise, try running outdoors. You can buy the best pair of running shoes for $100. Not true, I've seen really good quality treadmills for around 250-300, thats why I'm fully okay with finding a good condition used one from that original price range. I used to have one that was about 300 but got desperate to pay bills and had to sell it. I'll find one...lol, I'm determined. And for the ppl who keep saying to walk or run outside: that would certainly be my preference if I weren't afraid of being run over b/c we have no sidewalks and people here can't drive! |

Grrr... if anyone comes across a second hand one or whatever for less than 100 please let me know. For some reason I thought walmart shipped items from there website to there store like most companys now a days do.. I guess there still far behide there times. I found one with free shipping $129.99 http://www.fitnessquest.com/exercise/Edge%AE500ManualTreadmillFREESHIPPING.html Its no longer available, but thank you for trying. I think you can get the walmart thing shipped to the store, but you have to pay for it first. I'd like to just walk into a store and get it...lol, but most places don't have affordable ones. I'll try the second hand shop or even flea markets. Doubt there will be much luck, but I can try I guess. |
