it's not that guys are wanting thicker women...there are just less and less thin women...go to walmart and count thin women vs fat it's scary...my black friends think i'm silly for liking thin women they think it's gross...different culture i guess...try black guys can i please just shoot him,i wont kill him i promise! LOL, to be fair, it usually is a cultural thing. Sometimes things cross cultures, but yeah, in the black community being "bigger" is more acceptable. I had a white girlfriend who gained alot of weight and she started exclusively dating black men because she claimed white men wouldn't have her. Go figure. The majority of men I know from any race ( black, white, Latino etc ) aren't attracted to fat women. However I do know some white men who do like fat women. |

I don't see any harm in dating someone that you once dated many years ago. People can change and mature over time.

This often comes down to physical attraction. Many men simply aren't attracted to larger women. However there are other men who would date and in some cases generally prefer larger women. Being attracted or not attracted to a certain physical attribute doesn't make someone shallow.

I might bring it up eventually. But not right away. Perhaps some male relatives spent a few days at her house and they left some of their things. That has happened to me before.

Maybe something was wrong with his internet connection. That has happened to me before when I was chatting to someone by IM. I wouldn't automatically assume that he was rude or that his wife / girlfriend walked in the room.

IMO there are leagues. Leagues don't necessary mean that one person is better than another person. But some people are more desirable than others. A tall athletic doctor would probably get more dates than a short fat janitor.

"Too nice" is when a person is a doormat and never stands up for him/herself.

Yes. After a certain point, I think it is simply better to cut your losses and move on.

What is a date?

Any meeting or activity where 2 people are looking for a possible future relationship with each other can be considered a date. Whether it's having a quick cup of coffee or going to an expensive restaurant.

Lack of strong mutual interest. It seems like one person ( sometimes me, other times a man ) is often more interested in the relationship than the other person is.

Go ahead and meet the woman. This may be the most convenient time and place for it.

I generally prefer men who are within 5-7 yrs of my age.

Been stood up before?

It has happened to many people. It happened to me once. Unless there is a serious emergency ( illness, accident etc ) there is NO excuse not to inform that the other person that you are unable to make it. This can apply to any situation. Not just dates.
