Topic: Outside your league | |

I'd like to know if you think that there is such thing as "Dating out side your league" In other words, does it matter the background or history of the person you find attractive or sexy? Is there a unwritten law of dating that you never choose the person that is way outside your league? Someone in a different tax bracket, schooling level, Profession?
Just interested in hearing. |

Your " league " is nothing more than where you put yourself.

To say there is a "league" is to classfy someone as better than someone else, there is no such thing.

I think there are levels in where you are in life,
same as there are in levels of communication, our wants and needs, desires and activites. We are all different. I'm not interested in an illiterate lite beer swilling NASCAR watching wife beater wearing toothless wonder any more than I am in a guy with six Ph's with OCD, complete snobbery, an argyle sock collection that requires an extra armoire, a secret anglophile preference, and a penchant for masturbating in size 10 women's shoes. We all have our preferences and we all have our compatibility levels. I admit if a guy cannot string together coherent thoughts with proper punctuation, I'm not all that enthused. It's just what it is. |

This hits home
Men tend to think I'm above them for some crazy reason But then those who get to really know me say Wow You are soooo not like what you seem! Please just get to know someone!!! |

To say there is a "league" is to classfy someone as better than someone else, there is no such thing. Although, there ARE a whole lot of people who think they are better than everyone else. lol Then we get back to where you place yourself as mentioned before. Having good self esteem is important but to be conceited is not a good quality. Material things do not make one better. Intelligence does not make one better. Different lifestyle does not make one better. Religion or lack of does not make one better. Race, culture, disadvantages or advantages in life, etc... do not make one better. All the above makes us individual and different but ultimately we are all the same as each other, humans. |

Why not?? What's the worst that's gonna happen?? He gets shot down?? Not like it would be the first time. Probably wouldn't be the last. |
