I wanttoo alertyou too aSCAM, the scamer was not from this site, but
She/He could migrate too here. The picture the scamer used, you can see
in the thread GOOD NEWS. I was suspicious of her fromthe begaining, soI
played along with her game, including making the thread Imade
yestersday. The name she used was Lynhics, at yahoo.com, she also used
the name Lynnhicks and e-mail addy Lyhics@gmail.com, she claimed too be
from Mt Airy, Nc, I ran a people check there and there is no one by that
name there. She also claimed too have been born thre and has a 14 year
old son. I became suspicious of her when I saw the broken wenglish she
used, then two days later, she tells me she is on an asignment to
Africa, and that she was a free lance Photo Journalist. In her origanal
profile, she claims her income is $150,000 a year. We chated for a few
days, it was a general chat, but then today, is when she started putting
preasure on, wanting me too buy her a lap top, for 1300 some dollars
and she would send funds too my credit card company too pay for it, then
when I told her, that wont work, she changed thew esubject too She would
send money too my bank account and I was to then withdraw it and send it
too her via Western Union. I then told her, I would send it bt
Unternational Money Order, and continued to say If I did it her way, we
would both be investigated by the FBI, Oh, she didnt want to heear that,
and shortly after that, she said she had to go, no more "sweetness in
her today".I doubt I will ever hear from her again. This is just one of
the methods scammers will use, get you to trust them, and then they
start their sob stories on you, get you to let down your guard. Remember
the saying, if it sounds to be too good, then it is. Hope this helps
