well i agree with what people are saying about that depression is treatable but sometimes the person cant even see past the next hour let alone the next week.I lost my friends mom to suicide when i was in the 5th grade.she suffered from horrible deprssion and was even driving 4 hours to seattle twice a week to see a top notch dr.It was very sad

BUT in the last month i have helped her best friend and her kids grieve,heal,pick up pieces....after her husband shot himself in front of her and their oldest daughter.We're not sure why what happened or any of that.We do know there had been some problems they had been working on the week before.It has been one hell of a month as you can imagine and we're all still very angry and hurt that he did this not only to himself but to his family and all his friends.The poor daughter heard a gunshot yesterday and just broke down crying.How could anyone do that to their family if they loved them?so yes i believe suicide is very selfish and you're not thinking about your loved ones.I could go on and on about the after affects i've seen in this last month alone of suicide not even thinking of the rest of these peoples lives.He was only 27...he was a good husband good dad a father figure to my kids a soccer coach and a good friend.It's been a horrible situation

ohh i could go on a whole nother rant here dont get me started i really wish me and my family lived in the 30's to 60's.....tv is very limited here and kids ar rarely on the computer or playing video games

Glad you had a good time!!! i know what you mean.I seem to either fit in really well with the younger kids or with the older generations.i dont mind it.Seems everyone my age here is just too busy trying to build their perfect lives for themselves instead of going out and having fun either with friends or their kids so i do my own thing.

lol hate to tell ya adventure but even when they're older they're still poop factories....or a least my boys are!!!OOYYYY VEYYYY

I agree with a lot of what has been said and i am a mommy.Now i would date a man with kids.and unfortunatly it's my "motherin" or years of teaching that kind of doesnt stop me from getting involved with the kids.BUT i would never discipline another man's child without a long term relationship already in the works.

Meaning my last boyfriend we were together for 3 years and i raised my 4 plus his 2.Homeschooled all 6 and was the main disciplinarian of the household.I learned a lot from that because yeah it took me 3 years to figure out that HE just wanted a mother for his kids

anyways i guess what i'm saying is that now that i'm back in the dating game i'm not looking for a guy to become a dad to my kids they have a dad!and he is as involved as he can be from 5 states away.There's very little if no drama between us.I'm not looking for a man to pay for me and my kids.I'm looking for a companion for me someone to have fun with to grow with.If things become deeper then we need to look at it and discuss the future.

But yeah i dont blame a man for not wanting to date me if i have kids i respect that he's being honest enough to himself and myself not to waste our time.

it so is a learning experience for all of us!!!do you ever find it hard to explain to people you date indigo? it's always an interesting conversation and i have such a passion for it but i think it's one of those thing you either get or dont lol

thats awesome indigo.It's so hard to find other single parents who homeschool.i know it's just a very hard job to undertake.and WOW you're doing highschool as well.My oldest is in 6th grade and i'm starting to think about those highschool years and how we will conquer it lol.I know it's doable and should be very interesting.

Go on the date dont bail!!!Even if you're super nervous.I'm pretty sure the two of you will have a good time.And yeah just remember it's true oppposites attract!!
