BTW, Boone means good. I found it on a puppy names site.

No to Ed, that was the ex's name.

Learn to be your own best friend, take care of you, and you'll be better
off when someone special does come along. Take time to get to know you,
what you enjoy, what makes you happy. You'll have more to share with
another.

I like Sara's answer, and GEL, there's a couple of ladies that know who
they are.

Ok, here's the top runners so far.

Warrior (I live on the Warrior River)
Sam (love Sam Eliot, also short for Samson, sounds like a big dog)
Max
Moxie

I like people names for animals, should be one or two syllables, so keep
the names coming, I'm still looking, but leaning toward Sam right now,
is that kinda boring? Also like Max, but it's too popular.

Maximilian, I like Max for short, and I like Ranger too.

Name my new puppy.

He's the tiniest cutest little thing. He looks like a little bitty
Rottweiller, his daddy is part Rott, but he's going to be small medium
size probably. He's about a month old and weighs a pound or less. Very
sweet and calm.

This is the first time I've ever had a puppy all my own.

It's not so much what you ask, or what the answers are, people can lie
ya know. It's more a feeling about what kind of person they are. Having
conversations that reveal true feelings is more important than asking
about every detail of their past, cause like I said, people can lie. But
they usually can't hide their true feelings for long if you're open to
that, especially when you meet them.

I love them, had to get used to some of the little things my fella does,
like opening the car door for me. And he was the first man ever to give
me roses, that didn't take any getting used to!

Courtesy and respect should go both ways. I hold the door for other
people, there's nothing worse than having a swinging door in your face.
I don't think there's anything old fashioned about good manners.

Because some people would rather look at everyone but themselves, it's
easier that way. It's easy to look at someone else and judge them, and
tell them what to do, to look at your own life and take responsibility
for it is a little more painful. Looking at yourself objectively isn't
easy, but it can be done. People want someone else to tell them what to
do, then when it doesn't work out they don't have to blame themselves.

I personally don't give or ask for advice. I might ask someone's opinion
if I value their experience, or share my own experience with someone,
but what works for one might not work for another. Each person should
look inside themselves and make their own decisions about what's right
for them.
