I'd support the biodiesel idea, and even government managed population control... except that if you look at our organizations in the same way you would evaluate an organism they just aren't that well developed yet. They lack any moral perogative beyond their own survival, and they're not even real good at that yet.

What do we do now?


We do as we have been doing, we continue to evolve, perhaps our ability to steward will begin to catch up with our ability to destroy.

Of course at this point in history that does feel a bit like saying "so goo so far" during a state of freefall.

I'd talk to him ALOT about his future. Time moves so slow at that age, 2
years(until he's eighteen) seems like an eternity to him, we know...it's
really just a blink away. Help him shift his focus from where he is, to
where he's going.

Tell him the real stuff, not the PC crap, but the reality of the
different options available, or not available, to people based on their
education.

Most importantly...

Do for him what you did for your kids. Believe in him, because if he
doesn't get this pulled around in time, and fails to graduate, he has
his whole life to get back on that proverbial horse. His greatest
obstacle will be believing he can.

Perhaps the rules could be bent a bit in this case...

as the ones she broke are to protect from stalkers,

and she is probably safe from all but the most elite

of their kind.
