I of course can only speak for myself, but I read (which is not to say I won't regrettably miss a detail from time to time)...in fact, I don't respond if a woman's profile just says "hi" or is inexplicably short. I don't need a novel but a little info is nice. The conundrum I'm dealing with right now as a new member (2 days - I'm talking NEW!) is how much do I want to include in an initial e-mail. I don't want to inundate a woman with a tidal wave of information about myself but I'm trying - like every other guy here - to kind of separate myself from the pack, as it were. Any feedback is appreciated, BTW.
