I told myself after my divorce (coming up on a year now) that I would do my best to populate my life with cool, interesting people. I am constantly looking for such folks, during my workday, my free time and yes, even occasionally on line! Here is my favorite quote from my favorite author (and Lowell's favorite son!) Jack Kerouac. I think it explains perfectly the kind of woman I would like to spend time with: “the only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars.”
