i love when guys like Tancredo, Hannity, O'Reilly state they want to go back to the America they grew up in..and claim not to be racist for that time period was when there were seperate bathrooms and water fountains. once again son...you missed the point...when Conservatives talk about returning to the 50's for instance [ ohhhhhhhh for the 50's was a common refrain of mine in my early Mingle days ]...we're indicating that there was less Liberalism...less government regulation...less debt...NO political correctness...less crime...wonderful childhood memories...summer vacations...little league baseball...how you can go back to the good old days and only come up with seperate bathrooms and water fountains...well...I leave it at that...

Iran has a right to have nuclear weapons but They give up that right when they say, yes say they will bomb a nother nation. can you provide this proof? Iran's never stated they intended to bomb another country however both Pakistan and America do it everyday yet nothing is said about it. The fact that it's been said they want to wipe pissrael off the math proves nothing for he's talking about the state not actual violence. If Iran wanted to invade them, it'd already been done, they don't need nukes to do it. |

Blowing up busloads of kids, elderly and cheering and dancing over the killings of Americans in the World Trade Center bombings of 911 is NOT Hamas fighting for their homes. It is terrorism and crimes against humanity. Worthy of universal condemnation. Israel does nothing even remotely comparable in my opinion. of course you never heard it because Fox would never put that on the air, it was in fact quoted in Israel's own news publication and this was in 1998. |

Obviously people who support gays in the military have never served in the military or if they are serving and support it they are probably gay.If you are living in the Barracks on the base you are going to have at least one roommate and more than likely two roommates.You do not get to pick your roommates someone else picks them for you.You all live in one single room and have to share a bathroom with the entire floor you are on.Needless to say a man who has one or two flaming gay roomates who is straight is not going to be very happy.Privacy is minimal and in a few short days you are going to know everything there is to know about this person as you will be living with him and also working with him. There is also a second major reason gays should not be open in the military.With few exceptions women are not allowed to come into the rooms of the males living in the barracks and men are not allowed to come into the females rooms living in the barracks.The simple reason is that people would be having sex all over the place.When you have two gay males who are openly gay serving in the military they can have sex with out restrictions and more often.If they are both serving on the same command this often leeds to lover spats,bickering,and other love related problems all hurting the mission of the command.I realize two people can leave the base and go to a hotel but the military preventing people from having sex in their own barracks rooms prevents alot of screwing around. Lets talk about deployments.I was in the Navy and the typical deployment is 6-9 months.Needless to say going weeks sometimes months with out talking or associating with women takes its toll.Once you get into port there is two things everyone does.Find the the nearest bar,and then to the nearest whorehouse.I would be very uncomfortable knowing I was going on a 6 month deployment with a ship full of horny gay men.Instead of living in a room with two guys I am living in room full of 30 guys.Knowing opening gay men are watching me dress and undress(which they would unless you want to change in the shower)is not welcome to me. You already have enough problems with the blacks trying to get along with the whites and the rednecks trying to get along with the mexicans and everything inbetwenn.Adding gays to the picture will only complicate matters. there are all ready there and history says they are some of the most famious warriors in history . most of the old ship captains were pumping the cabin boys . This trying to force people to like each other is crap . I don't care what the government says I PICK MY FRIENDS NO ONE ELSE WELL. What???Gays were the most famous warriors in history?What are you smoking???I doubt if gays were the most famous warriors in history since gay people were typically killed on the spot both here and around the world once it was found out. I can tell you from both serving in the Navy and the Army that I have never found anyone who was pro gay.I met more than my fair share of people that said gays getting hit by friendly fire was just a "oops" moment. Alexander the Great, Achelies (actually both were bi) , spartans were men lovers , i could go on...you should do some actual reading instead of spreading hate on this site. On this thread, i don't see how this is important news. If you're paying to be on a website, that site can accept who they want and who they don't want but most importantly you shouldn't be paying to be on that kind of website to begin with. |
