Like you I am trying to expand my circle of single lady friends, just uncomplicated no commitment, meeting for coffee, chat etc.

I have many married couples as friends who helped me through the early difficult days after my sudden loss.

But now I feel it's time to find new friends who did not know my late wife and myself.
Too many conversations a little sensitive at the moment.

It would seem the only ones getting the forum feedback are female and young, all credit to them.
But we fellas would like some response from the Lady's as well, please do not ignore us.

At last someone is willing to respond.
I was beginning to think I'��m all alone on the forum.

The downside is, I am a real person, not some Walter Mitty character pretend to be something other than myself.

My profile describes the person I am, the photos are genuine ones of me, and if not an up to date, I will say so.

I've only recently joined Mingle2, but puzzled.

What I do not understand is why on a site where people are expecting to chat or meet someone in a specified town or locality members are reluctant to respond.
I realize one'��s profile and expectations are where judgments are initially made.

Perhaps the greater percentage of members may not be as honest or truthful as expected.
I.e. Photos, Age, Gender or Location, are fictitious or totally unrepresentative of their profile.

Would like your observations please.

I am, Honest, Truthful, above all I just hate it when people prejudge or take me for granted.

So what am I looking for?
Simple answer is. local single ladies for the occasional morning/afternoon coffee, conversation; maybe some interests could be shared.

Certainly not interested in the desperate "��I need to attach to anyone gullible" type��.
The same applies to those from another country eager to meet and marry me.

I just want to meet new sociable friends.

Why Ladies? Again a simple answer.

Different outlook on life!

Men together mostly want to chat about sport. Ok if you share the same interest or views as them, if not you are in for a long boring lecture, who did or didn'��t do something, even bringing into doubt the referees parentage.
Even the glazed eyes or looking at your watch is overlooked.
