Thank you many times, Christina. Well the fact remains that I am a good man and would have been good to her. But she lost out more than she could ever imagine.

I don't remember if I ever started a thread like this or not, but I DO know I have mentioned it before. I have NEVER been asked on a date since WELL before my marriage. I've been divorced almost three years now. Three years of guys hitting on me, but never a date request. Why is this? Do men not ask ladies on dates anymore? Why not? What the hell happened? A better question...when is it too soon to ask a girl out on a date? Isn't it better and more comfortable for a woman to develop a friendship with a man she just met before going on a date? Please lemme know. Thanks. |

Well, I'll tell you one thing that happened recently that has yet again hindered me from having a date. A girl from this site (who is no longer here) allowed me to call her, which is nice that she felt comfortable with me. When I called her she sounded like she was happy to hear from me, yet shy and unsure what to say. After she told me that she would be quite busy with work and helping her parents move into a new house, I understood and asked her when would be best for us to talk again? She said she was unsure, so I let her do her thing for about 2 weeks. In that time, I thought about her and how she may have been doing. I waited the 2 weeks and called her back. Yet again, she said she was sooo busy and didn't know when we could talk and/or hang out. And she had even told me that she thought I had given up on her. Nope, I didn't...because I was genuinely interested in her. And she even said it was cool to have a friendship and see where it goes. She agreed to that.
Long story short...I call her back last night to see how she was doing since she had gotten tonsilitis (gross). At first I think I surprised her that I called...then she said (I'll paraphrase here), "I'll be completely honest with you...if you think that a relationship can come out of this, I'm not really interested. I'm actually still in love with my ex-boyfriend, whom I've been dating." Boy, did I want to call her all sorts of bad things...but I told her that I will lose her number and go my separate way...to which she sounded rather surprised again and we said goodbye. Wouldn't it have been great if she had told me upfront about her dating her ex so that I would not have wasted my time and energy on the parasite that she is? |

Faithful, thank you. I hope your day turns out to be a wondeful day, too. ![]() Romeo, I wish you the best as well in your search. It took me going to over 30 places to find a part-time minimum wage job, but once I found that job it was easier to find something better, too. Keep pressin on, man. ((Clayface)) ty sweets, im tryin to make it better..been a sad week..need a great day today! Faithful, I understand. I couldn't rest my mind last night after I found out a girl from this site that I was interested in was still dating her ex-boyfriend, even after she apparently was interested in pursuing something with me...rude and nerve-wracking. My friend and I also go out, to bars, concerts ect. But we have another friend who is 6months pregnant and she can't go out with us. I feel really bad, I want to show her I still care and like hanging with her. What can I do to make her feel better, I thought bout taking her to lunch tomorrow but that just seems blah! Any ideas? As long as you stay away from the bars with her being pregnant, it shouldn't be a problem what you both do when you go out. |

I used to go on that site called webdate...and the people were so serious with no sense of humor that I ran into lots of those kinds of people. "Tough" guys show their foolishenss quite a bit and say things that down everyone else, even if no one was talking to them in the first place.

It seems to me that the men nowa days are so judgement...thinking that a woman must be a hoe if she has kids...not true!!! last time i was with any one was in february and that was my sons dad and i havent been with else in over 2 years...so what is you're take on this...is it i am UNATTRACTIVE now that i have children...i am not fat or anything...i am in alright shape..well im not muscular but i am on my way to being toned.. i walk alot and i started to do yoga... IS IT JUST THE FAMILY ASPECT THAT SCARES THE GUYS AWAY OR SOMETHING?? I AM JUST WONDERING ![]() Unless I've experienced having kids of my own, I don't think the responsibility of raising someone else's kids and trying to have a romantic relationship is a good idea, yet. |

How do Ýou feel about open relationship? My girlfriend and I have been dating for over 6 months now and we have an "open" relationship. By that I mean that we both have permission from the other to date and be intimate with other people. I have met some people that are outraged by such a thing and other think its great. We both use protection and only "play" safe. What do you think? It sounds like you are both tired of each other and using an excuse to see other people. If you think it's love that you share, then you wouldn't be going to others to meet your needs. |

No offence to all women on here but why is it you mention you have a child they just aint interested any more ? Its not nice for loving single parents whether the child lives with them or not :( and same goes for blokes just dropping a nice gals because she has a child whats wrong with you all scared of the commitment or something ? Whats your views ? And why do you think they do it . Since I've never had a relationship, I don't want that kind of responsibility. If they are not my kids, I don't want to take care of them. I've seen enough little brats as it is that don't get their azzes whooped when they need it. Therefore, if I think that her kids need a good butt-whoppin and she doesn't approve, then I don't see how we could agree on much else. Furthermore, I need experience with a woman alone...not with kids. By the way, there are plenty of women out there lookin for a sucker to be a "daddy" for their munchkins. I don't play that. And I'm not gonna put myself in the midst of baby-daddy/momma drama. How do you figure it is your job to tell a woman to whoop her kids azz.. your right, you shouldn't date women with kids... Well, if she's expectin me to do the job of bein a daddy, then I should have a say so in that issue. |

I sure feel sorry for the man in the wheelchair, but not for the wife. Seems to me that she loves herself more than her own husband.
