Just to finish remodeling my house so at retirement age I can do one of the two.
1. have a nice home ready to retire in or.. 2. at retirement I can sale it and be able to use the $$ to buy another home in Arizona and retire there. And at this rate, it will take the whole 10 years!

Try looking at the bigger picture. If I am going to allow a lady into my life..Sure I demand one I find attractive! If I am going to be tortured.. I would rather be tortured by a hottie than by a gal I find repulsive. I may as well have the reward after the torture. now on a serious note... I look at the entire package they have to offer. Morals, values, habits, culinary ability, neatness and looks. But I must say.. if she is a complete pig.. none of the rest matters. True but then that goes both ways for I feel the same way. If they don't appeal to me in the beginnig then sorry it is not going to go anywhere there has to be and attraction both ways.... I am such a letdown to the male race  I forgot to add..****SHE HAS TO BE GREAT IN THE SACK****

It throughout history has been a tool we use naturally to choose a mate for child bearing. Chemistry has alot to do with this. i wanted to thank everyone for your responses. my aunt showed up tonight and we had a long talk. she told me to start combing the country for jobs in a specific field and a few other things that are going to help.. i hope. anyway i think i had a lil bit of hysterics tonight which makes me feel silly but its gotten to the point where i'm wanting to scream at nothing. we came to an empass tonight and for now that will hold us. I'm hoping and praying for patience but most of all searching for a damned job. seriously.. i hate not working. Go to the hospitals or nursing homes they almost always have jobs of some sort. Have you tried ward clerk?? Medical records. Medical supply clerk? Try becoming a Certified Nurse Assistant. People advertise for roommates all the time to help costs. You can interview them you do not have to move in with them if you think there could be a problem. Go to school and move into a dormitory!! Another great idea! and even if starting out as a CNA.. one can soon become a Med tech and make a bit better $$$ and most nursing homes will pay for you to go to Nursing, ( with a 2 year agreement. |

That really all depends on who you live with and what the situation is in the first place.. If your living at home and it is getting to the point that you can't take it anymore the best thing to do is get a job save your money. Maybe find someone you can be a roommate with and move out. Most shelters will not take one if that is the situation. But it all depends on the situation and if it is and abusing one.... I should have read this first.. now I sound like a parrot. If a situation is bad enough, one can find a job if they really want to. work a crap job till something better comes along. as as far as friends not having room, I'm sure if they were really friends.. They wouldn't mind loaning out a couch. |

just not surviving where i am and when i stopped to see what i could do, where i could go, i realized i dont have anywhere else to go. not able to keep a mental balance in my locale and its not good. its starting to break me down and i dont want that anymore. i dont want to lose it. so would a shelter take in anyone or just women who have been in abusive relationships? Talk to your friends, arrange to split expenses and move in with them. 2. keep a separate checking account, save up enough to move to wherever you want to go. even if you have to work 2 jobs long enough to do so. |

Do you all think it's better to be single than stay in a relationship that is no good for you, even if that includes reasons that the person youre with cant control? no such thing! if they can't control it.. go find a good doctor that will help her achieve control. If anyone really wants to control it.. they can!! good answer. you know, i cant see the future. i had no idea things were going to get as bad as they did. she may resent me (although i dont think she does, she took the news better than i thought she would) but in my defense when we first got together she told me she was going to start taking better care of herself, and i thought she meant it. what else could i do? as a man with not much experience with women and taking care of others, i thought it best i back out. Confused a bit here, how was she not taking care of herself? she had 2 strokes because she was not watching her diet and smoking even though she has diabetes. You are 25.. why were you dating an 70 year old woman? Honestly she sounds suicidal lmao 70. shes 33, she was diagnosed with diabetes at a young age. and hey, come on, i had been single for a long time. i got my hopes up. like i said, i havnt had much experience with women, even at 25. despite bad experiences with previous women, im still kinda weak. youd think i wouldve toughened up alot by now. well i sorta did. and besides, i still didnt know it would get this bad. I would say she doesn't have good enough reason (in her mind) to live healthy and take care of herself. Strokes also cause dain bramage. Even the titanic was un-savable. you know, when a relationship gets that mushy and annoying, im kinda glad to see it go up in flames, or in that case, drown. lol talkin about the movie. still though, coming from the more twisted side of me, it was kinda interesting to see what frozen bodies look like If Mushy (affectionate) is annoying......... You may want a woman around for the wrong reasons?! And if frozen bodies is what you took away from that movie.......................................................
heh, affection is a good for relationships. but im kind of old fashioned i guess, and im not very affectionate out in public Heck.. If a Lady cares about or loves me enough to show the WORLD!! More power to her!!! |

I really don't think this is a sexual orientation problem.
most people get lonely at times. but if getting so lonely that you think of suicide- I think you need to find other more meaningful things to add to your life, make yourself complete before trying to bring someone else into your life. Put yourself into a position that you have much more to offer a relationship.. man or Woman I would give the same advice. |

Big sign. get involved with a gal that already cares about and loves herself. You would never be the reason for her to save herself. You need to find a Lady that has more to offer from the beginning. |
