I can totally relate to your poem. I never thought that I could feel a deep longing, as I have for someone that does not even know that I feel this way. And this is what I wrote about this person.

My Crush

You caught my eye

Just as I walked by

Not giving a thought

While I was distraught

Without a clue

My crush would be you

How silly of me

To try and see

What it would be like

Going on a hike

Maybe a walk

Having a nice long talk

Holding your hand

Writing names in the sand

Laughing and crying

All the time I’m just sighing

Because you don’t know

Your crush is a stone’s throw

I hope you will look my way

Or think of things to say

But all the while

I look at you and smile

I wish you felt

This spark that makes me melt

I wish you knew

My feelings for you

I’m oh so near

But it’s often clear

My dream to be with you

Will never come true.
