“Journey Home” We all gathered within your room tonight. Standing and talking till the break of daylight. We were told you would not be here much longer. But you showed us all you were much stronger. We stood hand n hand beside your bed. Heads bent and prayers were said. Not knowing what tomorrow will bring. I watched Lily as she touched her wedding ring. Wondering what must be going through your mind. And what will the doctors at the end of the day find. It was as if we were in another time and place. Until I looked up and saw the smile upon your face. I knew then that no matter how things turned out. That within my heart there was no doubt. You had made the peace you needed to make. When the end comes our hearts will ache. It's okay for we know you will hear a familiar voice. When you make that last journey the Angels will rejoice. No longer this world will you have to roam. ((((((((((Denise)))))))))) thank you my sweet angel...... they are in the process of moving him to my cousin's house. Hospice has been set up now just to make him comfortable. He has lived a long fulfilling life......
But rest assure ya I was still giving him hell during the wee morning hours and had him smiling & laughing.........

Thank you Pam, actually he was going pretty good with the laughing after I got him started some of the rest decided to join in. Even heard one of them tell him that they had not heard him laugh like that in a long time.... He always was one to joke around and get the best of us. Shshsh can you imagine he even told me to shut up this morning.  Hahaha aksed him what was he going to do chase me down the hall?
Funny for when we were growing up I was the quiet one....
