When someone adds me as a favorite I block them; it's creepy. I also ignore friend requests unless I have met them in the forums and had a few conversations first. I don't use the nudges, and I ignore nudges I receive unless they are my friends. Nudges are passive aggressive. Send a polite, informative, witty but sincere email. Just pull up the big boy pants and pretend you are meeting her in real life. If you saw a hottie at the store would you approach her and "nudge" her? Hell no! You would introduce yourself and spark a conversation. I think you will do just fine! 
thats actually what ive been doing is just email girls im interested in and asking them questions that have to do with their profile or pictures. love the tattoo you have...its an ankh cross, right? Yes, it is an ankh! I have 6 others and each is a "chapter" which collectively make-up my spiritual beliefs. I have 3 bachelor's degrees, with one in anthropology (subtext in Egyptology), and that tatt is the final chapter. I need to have it "connect" to my lower piece in a celestial-type pattern. I love my ink; it's very personal. Regarding the emails: don't take it personally that you may only have 20% or less success in getting replies. It's unfortunately part of on-line dating. You will make faster, closer friends on the forums rather than just surfing the profiles. yeah...i have been surfing the forums too and leaving my comments where i feel i can...i would love to see all of your tattoos...unless they are too personal or in a personal place...lol...the only reason i know what it was is because i celebrate my irish side every st pattys day and i have one hanging on my lamp beside my bed. it has been a tradition to watch boondock saints every st pattys day and then go drinking. thats one of the few times out of the year that i let the irish in me drink as much as it wants...lol |

do what's comfortable for you. if you'd make eye contact in the real world, maybe nudge them; if you'd go over and say hello, send an email. i wouldn't do a friend invite unless you've made contact. idk about others, but i usually ignore those if i haven't met them in the forms or received an email first,,,,speak to me people!! you should have NO problem
that makes a lot of sense...but im the type of person who some days can talk to a girl im attracted to and some days im shy (weird like that). but i get what your saying. |

thanks...its a smooth ride :) its a morrow wide series rv no tricks...just started back this last winter...its been over 10 years since ive boarded...just took it back up...i can do more tricks with skis than i can with my board right now...maybe next year ill try some tricks
