Think its gotta be the first nightmare on elm st but they went to far after the third one , also the original texas chainsaw massacre was good, and i liked seven.I'll agree with you there's gotta be more than blood and guts to make a good horror!!

one day paddy and mick decide to take some flying lessons, so after their training they take to the skies mick is flying and paddy is navagating.
After about two hours paddy starts to get bored and says to Mick.
"do you fancy sitting her down and we'll go and get a nice pint of guiness?" Mick says that's fine with him and turns round to head for the runway and starts his descent.
Just as he touches down he has to slam on the brakes as hard as he can or he's going off the runway through a field and a barn and a road.
Finaly he manages to stop the plane and turns to paddy and says
" jesus that was a short runway"
and Mick replies " Yea but look how f***ing wide it is " !!!!!

A man is invited to a fancydress party but is concerned about going
as he has a wooden leg and a bald head.
So he decided to write to a fancydress company to send him some ideas
that will cover his head and his leg .
Two days go by and a package arrives from the company, inside is pirates outfit and a note ,it reads.
Dear sir please find enclosed a pirates outfit , with the bandana to
cover your head and with your wooden leg you'll be perfect as a pirate.
The man is most upset by this because their just pointing out his wooden leg so he writes a letter of complaint to them .
Two days later he recieves another package . Inside there is a another outfit and a note, it reads . dear sir sorry about before
please find enclosed a monks habit.
With the long robe to cover your leg and with your bald head you'll
be perfect as a monk.
This time the man is raging as their just pointing out his bald head!
so this time he writes a really nasty letter of complaint and sends it back.
Another two days pass and he receives another package. Inside there is another note and a jar of syrup.
The note reads dear sir sorry about before please find enclosed a jar of syrup, pour the syrup over your head stick your wooden leg up your arse and go as a toffee apple !!!!!!!!!!!

Had to be the Green mile , read the book first but the film did it justice or should i say the film cast did it justice
