Hi...I am an ex hippie and free spirit, tan with discrete tats. Comfortable in my own skin and fine alone but just would like someone to share some good times with. Not looking for a free ride but companionship. I go Dutch unless I know you better and then will consider it a sign that you care but I am used to paying my own way. Kids now joining AARP, grands grown. Still do stuff with family but used to having my own life. Husband of 42 years was adventurous and we had great times while I maintained my own identity. He accepted me just as I was and I remain me, just solo now. Recently moved closer to kids and almost retired from work (I love what I do) but have not retired passport or brain. most friends from old city were “our” friends and I don’t like being third wheel or being blindsided by a fix up. I refuse to join senior club in new city to play pokeno or bingo once a month. Looking for more. like to go out a couple of nights a month for trivia, dancing, movies but also like sitting home reading. trying to make friends in my new location- with beaches so close I know there are places to go but I hate going alone, although I will. My long hair can be lavender, pink, gray or brown. actually right now it’s auburn. Looking for someone who will read my “about me” and laugh because I refuse to accept acting old. Growing old is mandatory but growing up is optional. Want to meet like minded person who enjoys being out and about with some travel but also respects alone time.
