A little about me I'm at a point in my life where I'm becoming increasingly deliberate about how I spend my time and what I give my attention to. I like to keep life simple—not because I want less from it, but because I want to be present enough to actually experience it. I'm a thoughtful, generous and curious sensualist. I enjoy the pleasures that can easily get overlooked: good food, music, a beautiful setting, the smell of the outdoors after rain, sitting beside the water or in an open meadow and simply taking it all in. I can spend an unreasonable amount of time choosing the perfect piece of music for a particular mood. Music is a fairly big part of my life. Miles Davis or Dave Brubeck with afternoon light filtering through the blinds for atmosphere; blues when the mood for intimacy arises; an eclectic 60s–90s mix for cooking or a road trip; some newer alternative folk for everyday listening. I'm a homebody by nature, and I enjoy reading, writing, film, art, gardening (I'm definitely still an amateur), and learning about people and the world. I love getting away from civilisation, often on spontaneous road trips to BC or Saskatchewan for a week or two. I love van camping, setting up somewhere quiet in nature. Care to join me?
