I am originally from Texas but have moved around quite a bit…Boston, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, California, Georgia, Florida, and Colorado. I'm an electrical engineer and I traveled quite a lot over my career. I am retired and live in my large RV near Comanche Texas. Born in Abilene, I went to high school in Dallas. After six years in the US Navy (Viet Nam era) I went to college at the University of Texas at Austin for my bachelors and got a Masters at University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. As my career as an Electrical Engineer took off, I traveled internationally quite a lot. I lived in Colorado four separate times totaling nearly 22 years...one year on the West slope and the rest in the mountains above Colorado Springs. I love the water, almost every kind. I love sailing and lived year on the North Carolina Coast on my sailboat was (past tense) a Catalina MK II 36 foot. I sold her just before Christmas 2022 in preparation of relocating to Colorado Springs. I also Scuba dive and snorkel. My last diving vacation was in St Martin three years ago. I prefer the boondocks to the city and I want to travel and stay active...looking for a companion that wants to go!
