I like spending time on the beach, people watching can be fun (especially the tourists), get on my board and dodge sharks, a little photography, and quiet strolls. It gets boring sometimes, I would like to find someone like minded that would like to spend some time beach side. It would not be unusual to walk into my world and see one or more pc's opened with an array of parts laying around. Little sticky notes here and there, one or more notepads with scribblings and an ortment of manuals mixed in. There may be a little dust on things as a result of tunnel vision brought about by a current project.
I am happy with myself being the way I am. I don't feel that I need to change anything but do keep an open mind to constructive criticism. I tend to be strong willed and determined, not to be confused with being bullheaded. I tend to be a bit reserved at first but warm up quickly. I am quick witted and to be honest have a warped sense of humor. I enjoy a good debate or discussion with people if they can keep an even temper and not take things personally. I can calmly listen while someone vents and when done either make comments, change the subject, or just say nothing at all. If something is shared with me in confidence then that is where it stays. If I am seen out with someone and later asked about it I may share some things but not all. I don't like gossip, it general just tends to start or fuel rumors. I consider my personal life private, not trying to be secretive, it is just my business.
I am a good man with strong ms and ideals. Even though my early years were in the North I was raised to be a "Southern Gentleman", to know and mind my manners, respect may elders, and the sancy of marriage. I believe for a relationship to work there must be a strong foundation based on Truth, Honesty, Faith, Trust, and Fidelity. You must be best friends as well as lovers.
Romance....hmmmmmmmmmm....everybody needs it. Shame some guys never learn that they have to stimulate a woman's mind and spirit to capture her heart.
I am not looking for a long term or even serious relationship at this time but I won't be close minded about this. The often used cliche "excess baggage" does not always apply. Everyone has a past and it is how they deal with it which makes it baggage or not. Each of us have our own idiosyncrasies and preferences which will become known as you learn more about a person. I feel it is important to spend time enough to get to know someone before plunging into a relationship both may later regret.
