Once, I was teaching a cl and a student who had never even looked up from his book, not only tilted his head up towards the front of the room, but actually broke a very small smile. I got into my car pleased that I had finally engaged the young man in cl. I went to put on my seatbelt and realized my fly was down, and had been through the entire cl. I laughed so hard I almost cried. It still makes me laugh to this day.
