People say that size doesn't matter but in truth it does. I'm judged on how I look. What size I am. I've accepted it cause it doesn't do any good to fight the never ending bias that flows my way because I don't look like a skinny punk. I'm a fat guy. I have been all my life except for a strange year in 1991. I can eat half of what a skinny active person eats and where they stay skinny I'd gain 10-20 lbs. I suppose it's that I've trained my body to be efficient at being fat. So what to do about it. I won a $2000 visa card from Clorox last Christmas and I used it to buy a shiny new treadmill which I use at least 3 days a week. I've changed my diet. I drink lots of water. I've lost 70 lbs and counting. However if you can't look past my size and see me. The me who left a job as a Christian house parent to 12 teens to come home to take care of my disabled mom. The me who had 40% of my income taken away last year and still stayed to take care of my disabled mother. The me who is loyal and caring and dutiful to spend 5 years with other parents kids and now another 5 years with a disabled mom how that could translate into a guy that at the very least would love and take care of a good woman. If you cant see that in me go somewhere else. Hobbies: Pets (indoor dog and outdoor cats), oil painting (I rarely have time anymore to paint), working with and entering sweepstakes/contests/giveaways online, a few computer games (my fave is Civilization 2). I have done the online games like World of Warcraft but again I dont have a lot of time nowadays. I have a sports card collection. I do a lot of virus/malware work. My goals: I own my own place. I own my own truck. I work two jobs and have a business in the planning stages. I'd like a comfortable life with a partner so we can keep the bills paid, go on vacations, travel a bit, work on our jobs/businesses so our kids will have something later in our lives, make time for our hobbies, and still be able to surf and survive the bad times that roll by. Things that make me unique are that I'm honest. I can communicate about what I want and need. I am intelligent and can hold a decent conversation. I can be devious at times but usually not to extremes. I can adjust to various situations. I've worked 5 years as a parent for other parents teens that were in trouble so I can be very good with kids. I left this work to work with my mom who is going blind and is now on dialysis and had to take a 40% paycut last year (I was able to adjust but I hate this crappy economy). I like smooth jazz, a mix of 80's, 90's, love songs, tv themes, even a commercial jingle here and there. My favorite movie is Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. I've grown to dislike Star Wars. I like some of the newer tv reality shows along with Gilmore Girls, Gordon Ramsey, Are You Being Served, Whose Line is It, Star Trek TNG, Warehouse 13, Stargate SG1 and Universe lots more but this is getting long.
