Had a few too many saphire tonics and woke up with an account here. At least I'm still in KS I'm easy going, love to laugh, and appreciate good conversation. I'm looking to meet interesting people, particularly in the Lawrence/KC area. I've been single for a couple months and would like to find someone on the capricious side who enjoys finding new fun things to do, but also likes to stay in, order a pizza, or maybe some India Palace, and watch movies all night. I like live music, especially in small dives. I dig most all genres, but usually go for rock, funk, folky, bluegr, and blues. I dance "like a full body dry heave", but am willing to learn. I've never been married and don't have any children, but like to spend time with my nephews and niece when I can. I write code for a living, and work very hard, so am kinda geeky and spend a lot of time on the computer. But I can leave work at the office and like to get out. Love to travel, and when I can afford to plan to spend a year or more exploring the world. I grew up in Kansas, but have moved around a bit. I lived in Portland, OR before moving back to Lawrence a few years ago. I was self-employed for many years which gave me the freedom to work anywhere. Times got tough, and I go into an office for a digital signage company in KC now, but will probably start a business again one day. I drink and smoke more than I should, but party less and stay in more as I get older. I'm trying to become healthier and go to the gym more often. Been learning to cook a bit lately, although I could use a mentor as I really have no idea what I'm doing. Sometimes it works though Sorry I haven't added a pic yet, but I don't want superficial girls that are just after my manly body (giggle) Plus I figure a cat will insta-weed out those lacking a wicked sense of humor.
