As middle-age approaches, I've decided to meet it head-on, defiantly standing completely erect, (in more ways than one), confronting the winds-of-change as easily as I navigate around a Michigan pothole. I'm a young-at-heart, and mature, virile man, NEVER having been accused of being a METROSEXUAL. Often I've been described as a "Big Cuddly Teddy Bear." I'm more than a "few extra pounds, but nowhere near the size of Billy Gardell, (of "Mike & Molly" fame.) Personality-wise though, I am definitely more aligned with the late John Candy. I've been called everything from "Very Handsome", to "Nice Looking", to "Okay Looking", to "You're Not My Type" and everything else inbetween! Although at present I have not entertained a "bucket list", I have many goals I'm currently chasing. There's NO shame in NOT SUCCEEDING!!! There's ONLY SHAME in NOT PURSUING ONE'S PASSIONS!!! Don't forget, you miss 100% of the shots NEVER TAKEN!!! Since I often hear women say they love a guy with a good sense of humor, and one without any drama. Perhaps a lady out there can explain to me how it is they say they do NOT want anyone with DRAMA or "BAGGAGE" in their lives. For God's sakes....we're trying to sell ourselves on an Internet Bulletin Board, hoping someone will come by and not only kick the tires, but check out under our hood or kilt. Who does NOT have any drama or a modest amount of drama in their lives? Grow-up! It helps define who we are! Glad I got that off my chest, or as they used to say on "In Living Color "Breast-a-sis." This is something else that is entirely hysterical. I do not proclaim I am even remotely the world's best speller, but if you state you seek a smart man and turn around and write something along these lines, you need to head back to school...
