I'm courteous, kind, and forgiving. I'm gentle and peaceful each day. I'm warm, and human, and grateful. And I always have good things to say. (Thanks to Steve Martin!)
Yep... I'm the proverbial 'nice guy'. I have friends that tell me to "release my inner-hole", because that's what women really want. Is that true? Is that really what you want?
Would you get annoyed by my need to open the door for you? How about every door?
If we were out on a date, and I asked you more than once if there was anything that I could get or do for you, would it piss you off?
If we were walking down the street together and I made sure that I was walking on the street-side, would you get upset with me? Would you feel smothered?
I ask these questions because they are very likely events. I don't do things for show, I do things because I feel they are right and proper.
OUR FIRST DATE:
Maybe Kayaks or an electric boat at the harbor? French fries and a chocolate shake at Johnny Rockets or Red Robin? Live music, wine, cheese & crackers at the park (this one's seasonal)?
I play some horrible blues harmonica, so I'm sure we could work that into the date somehow.
Lightly-planned spontaneity seems to work for me, so a first date would depend on who I'm with. But I am creative.
Oh yeah, by the way: I have character references.
