Hey, I’m just a simple girl (not short-yellow bus simple, more like I hate reality TV simple) trying to figure out the dating scene... Basically, I have spent the past 30 years becoming the strong, smart, intelligent, independent woman that my mother always wanted me to be…just to find myself cussing the whole women’s lib movement for putting us girls in the position of having to be the strong/bread-winner type! And although I have successfully mastered taking care of myself, I find that my natural happiness lies in the nurturing that I do for my man…the back rubs to relax him after a long day at work, or the home cooked meal that is waiting on the table when he comes home, or teasing him about how childish he becomes on Sundays when he feels compelled to scream at the TV when the receiver misses an amazing p. Don’t get me wrong, I require reciprocation as a woman. I expect to be hugged and cuddled as we watch movies curled up on the couch together on a rainy afternoon, or to have flowers in your hand when you come home from work every now and again, to have you pretend to like my family during holiday gatherings, or to have you gently run your fingers through my hair when you can see I’m fried after a long day at work…I’m not high maintenance by any means (again, thank you suffragettes!), but I’m admittedly a little softer than most women these days care to let on (and don’t you dare tell any of my girlfriends about this post, women in my community that prefer to be homemakers are kinda chastised a bit, so this should be our secret!) Anyway, if you are interested in finding somebody that genuinely enjoys taking care of her hard-working significant other, but who also expects to be treated gently in return…hit me back.
