I would say that I'm mature but childishly excitable at times. Free-spirited yet grounded. I know what I want and don't want. I'm Italian so I can be pretty stubborn but my cooking, and caring make up for it...lol so I've been told. I volunteered at the Marine Mammal Center in Crescent City CA for the year I lived there. It was awesome! I got to interact with Elephant Seals, Sea Lions, Fur Seals and Harbor seals. There is something about volunteering that is very fulfilling and satisfying to me and I really enjoy it. I'm artsy, creative and love to try new things...well, if they don't involve jumping out of a perfectly good plane or strapping a giant rubber band to my feet, extreme dangerous stuff I stay away from...lol...not much into that kind of rush. I love to laugh and do my best to be positive all the time. I'm looking for someone who is stable in their life and secure with who he is. Also someone who isn't afraid of commitment and who is ready settle down from the partying lifestyle. Don't get me wrong, I like to go out and party on occasion but not all the time. I'm not a foo-foo girly girl but I can shine like a new penny when I want to but mostly I'm a t-shirt and jean girl. I have days that I just want to sit around and do nothing but those are not that common so someone that can handle, spur of the moment stuff, someone who appreciates the little things a woman does for him as well as does them too. I have a 11-year-old son that is of course number one and I'm looking for number 2. Someone who isn't afraid of kids and can handle the fact that my son is part of the package, if you are not good to go with that then please don't respond to this. Oh yeah, here's more! reading fantasy books about mythology etc, King, Koontz, Straub, Weis and Hickman are some of my favorites; listening to music alot of alternative bands, rhythm and blues, clic rock (60's-70's)little to no country or hard rap. swimming (gonna get back into my sport suit!!!) light bike riding, don't care for the extreme trails, too much work and I want to enjoy the scenery and company not huff and puff... Movies...I love adventure, suspense, action, horror and fantasy....and of course, those must be seen on the big screen at least for the first time. I love to cook when I have a "good" man to cook for..... I am a romantic, of course, Italian! Pionate, loyal, sensitive to a fault and open-minded...most of the time anyway. I am actually here looking for something real and feel that both parties should put in the mutual effort and not just drain the others wallet for a good time..I do take the check myself on occasions.... I still like the door opened for me not just into the building but THE CAR as well....you get the idea I hope.. I am very independent and am not looking for someone to support me and my son. I am looking for a man to grow with, learn things from and new things together, as well as learning some things from me. This needs to be said, I am NOT an exclusive "dater" I DON'T meet someone and then never meet up with anyone else until a month or however many go by until we figure out if it is actually going to work. I date other people at the same time, I DO NOT HAVE SEX with everyone I date so don't get the idea that I'm easy. I don't want to lead anyone on so please take this seriously and if you cannot handle dating a woman that dates other people do not respond to this..I know that there are plenty of men out there that do the same thing and I have meet a lot of men that say they are only dating "you" then you find out that isn't the case SO THIS IS THE DEAL WITH ME.. A bunch of men on this site and others want a woman who's honest and will tell it like it is, well, here I am! this is me, what you see is what you get, I've got a couple pics here with no make up but I don't wear a lot anyway, I take care of my body and I expect the man I'm with to do the same k....don't want to sound vain, I just can't get frisky with someone I don't find physically attractive k.....
